I had to disconnect my wife from life support on Christmas Day, this was one of her favorite songs and I know she is going home , she was able to donate her both kidneys to somebody on the waiting list. What a Christmas miracle for 2 people! Rest in peace my beautiful wife

I lost my father when I was 20 years old But everytime holy spirit says me that to know jesus and accept him as our saviour and Christ is a peace and most comfortable thing. Now death doesn't matter We all are living in Christ . Jesus is preparing home in heaven for us.

My brother passed away from Covid pneumonia last week. In trying to find a celebration of his life and his entrance into Heaven ... I found this. My heart is broken into pieces with his loss, but this song gives me the reminder that my brother is happy, healthy and rejoicing in Heaven and waiting for us all there. My father just passed away yesterday and this song brought comfort to my heart. My father was a Godly man and before he passed away he said that he is breathing for the Lord than he said that he is Kissing Jesus face and he will be with the Lord when he comes to get him. Home, I love this song it brings me hope. I miss both of my parents every day. My mom died from Uterine Cancer (October-2012) My dad died he had a massive stroke (June-2014) My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968. My oldest son dad died on Christmas 2006 My grandmom died May 2020 My family pet died June 2020 My oldest brother was murder on August 27, 2020(shot and killed in front his baby boy at 7-Eleven store) in Richmond, Virginia. In loving memory of my mother & father and my older brother. I’m still grieving your lost, every time I breathe.

I am so sorry for your loss you must’ve taken it really hard I personally would hate to have to bury my mom, and thank the Lord, always thank the Lord. my mom’s uncle died just recently and we had a funeral for him more like a celebration of life. And my mom’s aunt is in the hospital and we’re not sure if she’s gonna make it either she’s barely eating. She’s just not doing things a person would normally do when they’re getting better I think they said that she is getting worse and that they are probably gonna take her off life-support I don’t really know all the details, but I know one thing they’re going home to heaven, and I know the Lord will take care of them.

This is the song I chose for my son Angel Rivera minutes before passing away it was his favorite song. He was 17 years old and a heart transplant he was recovering from having his second surgery, an artificial heart and wasn't able to make it out of this one. He loved Jesus!

When I was 10 I used to watch this video and be like ‘What does this mean?’ Not that I didn’t know what a Christian was because I knew what it was but I never took up and really thought about it. As I got older I soon realized what it truly means! And now I am 15 years old and realizing what it means to be a Christian and to live for God and truly understand what it means. Amen we will all be on our way home my moms uncle died recently and we just had a funeral for him more like a celebration of life, but it was kind of both, and one of my mom’s uncles friend. He felt a nudge from the Lord telling him it’s time to ask him the question you’ve been wanting to ask him for a while. so he asked he said Clyde which is my mom’s uncle that died I’m gonna ask you something that I asked my dad. Are you ready to go home go to heaven. He said I’m not really sure. Then he asked him if you had the chance would you wanna go see Jesus without a blink of an eye immediately said yes. I know he is with the Lord.

My cousin, Abby, just recently passed away in a house fire in January. She was only 18 and we know she loved The Lord. She is definitely HOME! I cry anytime I hear this song because I miss my cousin but I know she's with Jesus. That little glass house on the floor that lights on fire in the music video is like so incredible it is in this music video. My cousin died from smoke inhalation in her bathroom and that little part of the music video is like God telling us she's home. I am so happy she is in her forever home but I miss her so much and hurt so much. Chris' music got me thru the hard times and I listened to his music while writing a speech I had spoke at her funeral. Thank you Chris for your music. God bless!

This was my daughter's favorite song before she passed along with her daughter. Both at hands of an assassin. It was my worst nightmare. I find much comfort knowing she accepted the Lord early in her life. I know she and my grandchild are now Gone Home. Love and miss them tremendously.

It is in times like this (COVID-19 and riots) that this song brings a smile to my face! Our home is not here- we are just pilgrims passing through and on a journey back to our real home! We played this song to my nan on her last night before she went to be with the Lord. Just before that, my aunty had found Revelation 21 which talks about the golden streets of heaven, as mentioned in this song, and we read that to my nan. Earlier that day our pastor had read a similar verse to nan from Hebrews which spoke of the glory of God. We hadn't planned any of that but we felt God guiding us individually to this song and the two readings which just happened to fit in perfectly before any of us had told another about the verse or song they had found. It's hard to believe it's been a month since she left us and the entire family miss her so much but I thank God that I can always look back to that last night and instead of just pain and loss, there is also a feeling of joy as I can see how he planned things to fit in so perfectly and I know that my nan is now with him. I'll see you when my journey finishes nan. You will always be loved and missed.

I remember the morning I first heard this song. My dad had been diagnosed with prostate cancer a year prior. He was slowly dying. I was crying and praying to the Lord asking for him to heal my dad. And then this song came on. I called my mom crying and telling her to listen to the song. I told her I felt like God was saying he was going to be going home. My dad passed away 7/25/2017 . On 7/24/2019 my mother was murdered. Just a day before my dad's 2 year death date. My son sang this song for my mom's funeral. God shows us signs when asked.

I am going home any day now, Hallelujah. This song was in my spirit this morning as I wait for Jesus in the clouds. It was released 3/3/17 and on 3/16/17 I had my first rapture dream where I was in a wedding dress and told that Jesus was coming to get me. I have had many dreams since which I have shared on this channel to prepare people to watch for Jesus just like the Bible says. I was working in my wood shop on May 2. Listening to Christian music and this song came on. I could not continue to work, I had to stop and listen carefully. My mother was laying in bed on her last. She has been wanting to go for a while, especially since her husband died and then her brother died couple years later. Ma passed on at 2 am the next morning. My cousins son officiated the grave side service and it was perfect down to this song, “Home”, being played. Thank you Chris, your music was here for my family at the perfect time. God Bless You... I have a short story for anybody here that likes to read this kind of stuff. My life has been a mixed one ever since I was born, i was born into a christian family and raised with them, gradually as my life moved on and i got into my teenage years i hit a stage in my life where i met some "friends" that were not very good, but i didnt want to believe that because sin had blinded my eyes. I spent lots of time with them from 13 until a few weeks ago, we did unspeakable things... i cursed, i took drugs, i smoked, everything in my life was headed the wrong direction, until one day when i was talking to one of my friends from the church i attend and somehow that night God used His great power to talk to me through her and that night i prayed the most relieving prayer of my life. I am now 17 and I felt the weight of all my life lifted off me that day, I am still a sinner because everybody is... but God is merciful enough to have chosen me to be one of His followers

This song gets me every time. From seeing a person who was very close to me in pain and depressed, having to leave them around midnight and make the 45 minute drive home in the rain, this song kept me going, it gave me hope when I had my heart broken, when I was betrayed by somebody I truly trusted, and had nowhere to turn, I remembered Jesus was riding shotgun, and one day I am going home.
