I had to listen to this again, even though I am not Church of Christ I love to hear them sing without music. They really know how to use their voices to usher in the spirit of God!!! Keep singing my brother. God Bless and keep you

Psalms 150:1Praise ye the LORD. PraiseGod in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.2Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.3Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.4Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.5Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
+Mary Jordan I would "LOVE" to this man preach a sermon, OOOOOOO AMEN :) I "know" it would be good, I would love to to hear a fire and brimstone sermon :)

WOW! Chris.... off the chain, AMEN! Brotha...Just soooooooooooo, enjoyable to see, hear and feel you sang this song... My God.... Outstanding energy.... Go Church of Christ... Keep on Sanging(LOL)...
I must add my comment. We in the church do not immitate the bass drum or guitar, it imitates us. In the Beginning God created the heavens and earth, Adam and eve, you don't hear about instruments until later on in the Bible which means the drums immitate us. As far as singing, God told us use the fruit of our lips which the bass man is doing, it isn't mechanical instruments, it's just the organs and windpipes inside of the body. So there is no adding nor subtracting.
You're correct, we added "instrumental music" in the scripture ourselves. Amos in the old testament is the only place that I've found any reference to instruments. Time is short and we might outta start just believing in and praising God while we're here. The most important scripture is loving God and loving your neighbor, all of the other commandments rest on these principles. I believe that God has the power to save us even if we sung from inside of a tuba.
David played the harp and sang and danced. He worshipped God and God loves him. God looks on the heart and loves the love different Worshippers send Him.
+Theresa Harris A coffee enema or just a regular one never works as well unless you first add some Kool Aid or Mountain Dew with lots of sugar. NO, do not worry about the sugar. The sugary fluids become urine....then you should move directly to youtube URINE THERAPY. Two in one. You can drink your urine while evacuating. And this saves on too much use of toilet paper! That is what all christians actually do for communion and praising Mr. Shithead Jesus!
@MethodistPreacher Wow...What you hear is someone imitating a bass guitar, and a drum...Human voice...Still consider a capella...Yes we do a holy dance, and yes we speak in tongues a Heavenly language...One thing about a dry church is, when it catches on fire, it's going to burn with the Holy Ghost!!! The people in it will feel that spirit, and speak in tongues and do that Holy dance too...As for the hammond organ, it gives more incentive to get up and dance....
why members of the lords church clapping have you not read Acts 17:23-25 the command given to clap was to the Israelite nation just as the law not for us today. worship should please God not us
Another misuse of Acts 17:23-25. That scripture is not talking about hand clapping. It is speaking of the Athenians making idols and making a temple with their hands. They were worshipping what they made with their hands instead of worshipping God. Let's rightly divide the word of Truth by studying.
So we should stand there stiff like a board as though the lord have not done amazing things to and for us. I'm quite frank if you listen to other music it had instrument in the song and there a clap or stomping of the feet
@alliranch I think you have your people mixed up...I wrote to Methodist Preacher too...Think your reply was meant for Methodist Preacher...Please, read what I wrote...It's directed to him as @Methodist Preacher...Be Blessed....
@alliranch beats definitely were added to the song, beats done by the mouth that are not words. MethodistPreacher is right. I wish the church that Jesus died for would not add these unauthorized sounds to songs.
search the scripture, in which you think ye have eternal life...speak where the bible speaks and be silent at the rest. There is no account in the new testament for instrumental music...hence COC accapella. be blessed.
I'm going to say it again...I hear more than voices...I hear beats...isn't that against the coC's Faith and Practice? All ya'll need now is a Hammond Organ...cause you all to do the holy dance and speak in that unknown language (I Cor. 14)...ha ha ha
