Hallelujah THANK YOU JESUS, my brother in Christ all I can say is wow! I'm that person who he came and got from the mud too! He searched for me & found me... I answered, I'm here to stay! Glory to GOD for speaking through you! Amen
I've watched this 4 times in 2 days, and weep every time. I WAS the girl on the mattress, and almost 22 years ago, I was rescued by that Power greater than myself! So grateful for this!
Chris, I truly pray for blessings and abundant wisdom in Christ Jesus. I pray for Him to help you to flourish in all aspects of your life. LORD, I plee for this soul. Please Lord God show your Glory in this man's life.
I had the pleasure of seeing this performed live with the PIA Tour last Friday and it was such a powerful poem! All of the audience was moved! I'm so very happy that this is online!
I have never seen this poem until today and I am familiar with Chris Webb's brilliant work. I literally watched this several times and cried each time. The anointing on this poem is so great. To hear and reflect inwardly how filthy we are and God still loves us and accepts us in all our backsliding and sin is the greatest love we could ever experience. Jesus! I am literally crying as I type this. Wow! This ministered to me.
I saw you last night at the potters house (Poets in Autumn) So powerful! I was both challenged and encouraged to Live love and share Jesus! I prayed for all of you! May God continue to rest and abide in each of you!
@chris webb Brother! this is so deep, it's even more deep considering I'm presently studying Hosea & Gomer and Ezekiel 16. This is amazing bro... #redemption
This is amazing stuff - this guy has some well honed skills! Would love to see him do a part two about that focusses more on the guy doing the rescuing cos that's where the real good news is - if it was just me or you rescuing the bride that would be good I guess but the reality is so much better than that! This piece is a great illustration of the lengths he goes to to know us and bless us an the way we hold on to less worthwhile things but for all many people can see the one rescuing the bride is gonna treat her just as badly. Tell 'em it ain't so Chris!
