It's when they buckle under their own weight on the leg for me. That's when it gets REALLY hard to watch. I broke 4 bones in my ankle at one point. Tried to stand up and immediately fell back down. Tried again and same thing. It's not a good feeling.
Damn sliva had the left leg and Weidman had the right leg . They both have two broken legs together. Matching set 😂😂 but in all seriousness they are great fighters and truly show that leg breaks in the ufc are like really a main thing that take out the greats . Conor against Dustin, sliva and wiedman . I wonder who’s next for the UFC Curse
Weidman kick was the result of improper technique, if you go completely sideways or even chopping down you have the calf muscle behind you to give it support, the way he kicked kind of sides with the shin there is no muscle on the other side to protect the bone. Anderson’s injury had to be from a previous i jury as it did not even break at the side of contact.
@@HonkeyKong54 a person that has never even put on a glove tells an ex pro muay thai fighter he does not know what he is talking about. The internet is wild.
Silva (yellow trunks) once fought Weidman (blue trunks) and broke his leg. Years later Weidman fought a fighter similar to Silva and broke his leg in a very similar way.
You mean why, right? Like was their technique wrong? That’s what I’m trying to figure out too. It happened in the exact same spot in the exact same way. I’m thinking they threw the kick too lazy and I realize when you flex your toe upward as if to flex your shin muscles it make it more sturdy and your ligament are contracted making that part of the leg less likely for leg brake.
@Fatih Mehmet Şen yeah it wasn't the ankle. The lower shin tibia and fibula straight up snapped and his foot bent forward like 90 degrees. Looks very painful.
I crossed the street quietly for my first coffee. Then I set foot on the icy sidewalk. I heard the crack and said to myself: "Fuck, I'm in MMA". Then I called my employer to tell him I probably wouldn't be able to work. To which he replied that he would try to find a way of firing me. Then I said to myself: "Fuck, I'm in an MMA gangban...". So I learned to walk again, read a lot about the law and went back to work...
