Such a legend, a highlight of my musical life was playing on a recording featuring his harp fills & solo

Chris Wilson was my school teacher and he was exceptional on seeing through the bullshit and seeing you as a person.

What a legend, and I reckon because of his love/need to play was always doing free residences, hence no one at cherry. Yet, I saw him at byron blues fest with Shannon Bourne (the other great guitarist and accompaniment to chris in my book) playing in the tent next to buddy guy. As I turned around from the hill bar I could see people in the fringes of the 2 tents being drawn towards chris', his power, tone everything was fucking amazing. I always knew and believed it, but to have a quantifiable way of seeing it was incredible.

Well this was a treat and a half to see on my suggested for you list. My only complaint: the film isn't near long enough :S: Thank you for uploading this Chris, a fabulous tribute to a great evening and a great musician whom we have just lost.

Brilliant documentary of the late & great Chris Wilson. Who decided that people have to one day die? Whoever decided made a terrible mistake.
