Low in the grave He lay, Jesus, my Savior, Waiting the coming day, Jesus, my Lord! Refrain: Up from the grave He arose, With a mighty triumph o’er His foes, He arose a Victor from the dark domain, And He lives forever, with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose! Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus, my Savior; Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus, my Lord! (Refrain) Death could not keep his Prey, Jesus, my Savior; He tore the bars away, Jesus, my Lord! (Refrain)
Amen. Christ arose! We arevery thankful to the faithful Christians in America. Thousands are getting save here through the blood of Jesus Christ in Davao City, Philippines because a missionary from the USA obeyed the calling of the LORD. GOD BLESSED THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
I lived in the Philippines in 1970-71. I love the Filipino people. Praise God people are being saved there. I lived at Sangley Point and Subic Bay bases. Also lived in Alongapo. ❤️❤️❤️
@@lukepinn621 England has always been the Church of England & the forgiveness of sin is not preached much in England. There are plenty if services online & the First Baptist Church of Atlanta streams their morning service at 10:30 am. We have a large international congregation online. I sure hope you see this. Blessings.
I really enjoy listening to the congregational singing of the "old" hymns. I miss this type of corporate worship with hymns.. The new stuff just doesn't seem right..
Me too. Over here in Northern Ireland many churches have foolishly dumped hymns and replaced them with, to quote a biblical word- pure dung! Boring dung at that...
My church has 2 services. They have a traditional and a contemporary service. I went to the contemporary for awhile, but when I went back to the traditional, I really felt the Holy Spirit.
@@colinbell-NI I'm from NI too Colin and it is sad, but there is still some hope left, our church (Mourne Presbyterian) we still sing the good old ones, organ, panio and you can't beat it!

No grave could hold your body down because you have the power to lay it down and to take it up you as done it all for us so shows us how much you loves us thank you
I am listening to this much loved hymn on Resurrection Sunday 2022 from metro Atlanta, GA. Praise God that “love’s redeeming work is done!” Thank you for posting this!

This song is Easter to me. I haven't sung this in a congregational setting for far too long and my soul misses it. It took me ten tries this morning to find a congregation singing this song. Thank you, so much. Even now, it brings tears to my eyes.
I completely understand. Many music leaders and pastors will say that hymns are just "preferences", but they are much more than that. They connect to the heart, edify the God's people worshipping Him, and pleasing Him. Much of the content found in the hymns, much the contemporary stuff just doesn't have it.
ALABADO SEA CRISTO,REY DE REYES Y SEÑOR DE SEÑORES, EL UNICO CAMINO HACIA EL PADRE, VEN PRONTO SEÑOR JESUS Y LLEVANOS CONTIGO A TU MORADA CELESTIAL AMEN.
Привет! Флорида его имени! только Иисус заслуживает всей славы. он a.one господин. поэтому я хвалю его и только его. он один знает, что ужасные пиратства на Голгофе
Sherry, you're not alone. I grew up with this old hymn and many others. They didn't mean much to me as a child, but now, when pondering the words and the immeasurable love that Jesus showed us the day he gave his life for us, then his triumph over death and the grave, my soul cannot contain the abundance of joy. Tears flow when words just won't do.
He arose.... My time most favourite song. Can't seem to tire listening to this piece, more so when performed by a team founded in, and well led of the Mighty Lord, like the South West Baptist Church, USA.
The version from my church:
Thankful for the video on this first Easter Sunday that I can remember where I won't be joining a congregation singing of the power of God in the resurrection of Christ.
That is by far the most accurate Baptist replay. Grandpa passed away sang all the bass. My Grandma still kicking played piano. 2022 I can't comment without Google assistant saying, "Sorry I didn't get that". I watch tons of RU-vid on premium. This total jam of a song will likely earn a strike on my channel.
Hi Daniel, I have a strange question: Do you know which hymnal and what edition this congregation is using? I found a printing plate in an antique store and am trying to figure out which hymnal it was used to print and I believe the one in this video is the one I'm looking for. Thank you!
