Oh my gosh. I remember wearing a Striper tee shirt to church when I was a kid and it was flames in the back of the shirt and my mom didn’t understand it and wouldn’t let me take my jacket off in the church 😂😂
And being found appearance as a man , He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord , to the glory of God the Father. Amen! (Philippians 2;8 - 11)
Pretty good. Would sound better with some background vocals. I’m available and this is in my range AND I play guitar….and bass….and drums. Drop me a line!
@@donmcc6573 I'm simply pointing out a fact. I've been a Stryper fan since their beginning and saw them in concert on their tour for that album. It had not occurred to me, however, that they never mention Christ in the song until I heard her little speech before the beginning of the song when she says that "she" will beat the devil. I know what she "should" mean by that, but, for all I know, she truly thinks that it is up to her to defeat the enemy and, if that is the case, she needs it pointed out to her that it is Christ who has defeated the devil for us. Too many Christians live as if it is up to them to accomplish what only Christ can and what Christ already has accomplished. As for the Muslim comment, is it not true? There is nothing that is said or sung in that entire video that a Muslim could not say/sing out loud with gusto. This is problematic. If Christ is not preached, then what is the point? I get that, in that context, everyone knew what she was talking about, but that video clip alone is completely unhelpful and, given her little speech, could even lead people to lean on self rather than on Christ. If you are a believer, the magnification of Christ's name should be your desire and you should have no problem with what I am saying.
This woman, in her intro, seems to be treading on dangerous ground. Guilt and shame are the Holy Spirit's way of telling us we've done something wrong; she claims it's Satan.
@@donmcc6573 No, my friend...not the pretend Jesus of the mainstream denominational church businesses. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, the Saviour of the world. The real Lord Jesus Christ has a bride, whom he has bought with his own blood, and who is called by his name. We are baptized in his name, filled with his Spirit, and walking in his word, for that is the seed from whence we were begotten. Our women do not dress up like whores and prance around on a stage as the leaders of rock bands. They are meek and shamefaced (shy). They dress themselves like proper women, in dresses and skirts, and their heads are covered so that no one can see their long hair. Christian women would never assay to stand in front of an audience and speak into a microphone; for they know by revelation that the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit is of great price in the sight of God. If you wish to learn how a Christian woman acts and presents herself, here is a sister who can help you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lFf3QlUBs58.html And, if you have questions about the word of God, the doctrine of Christ, or the way of salvation in Jesus Christ, I am here to help you as his minister.
