Hello and welcome, sleepies ♡
I create Christian based ASMR videos to help you relax or fall asleep :)
Today I will be reading through 50 Biblical Affirmations and try out some different hand movements.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, and can be described as a "tingly" or relaxing feeling beginning at the scalp and moving down the back of the neck and spine.
*Please note I often share my own thoughts and beliefs as I read through the Bible. My hope is that you choose to dive deeper into the Bible as well, and ask God to reveal His truth to you.

God used this in my life tonight. I start a new job this morning. One with high responsibility and one I’ve been working towards for many years. My body does not like change want wants to run away.. and so I could not sleep. I put this on, just closed my eyes and listened. My soul found rest and nourishment in the words. Beautiful job on this. It won’t be the last time I watch it.

I don't know about these affirmation things lol, they feel a little too "everything is gonna be ok no matter what" and I'm more like "everything will work out for the best as long as you keep your eyes open and do what needs to be done". I think the difference is kinda subtle but there's definitely a difference there. Maybe this is a masculine vs feminine thing? I can see the usefulness of these things but they just make me a little bit uncomfortable. That one jellyfish at 8:32 was going on an adventure haha.

I thought these hand movements would look cool in one of those little virtual reality things that you put your phone in and wear on your head so I tried it with one that came with my kids flying drone. Its pretty cool. It actually felt like your hand was going right in front of my eyes because the light gets dim and everything like your hand is really there. The headband isn't really comfortable so it probably wouldn't be good for relaxing or falling asleep but its cool just to try it out for a little bit if anyone has one of those things laying around.
