Anyway two incredible actors, maybe in top 10 of all time actors. I would suggest the following comparison Julianne Moore vs Emma Thompson based on the following arguments: 1)They both have 5 nominations 2) They both won for Best Actress 3) They both feature various genres such as drama, comedy, romance, blockbuster (Hunger Games vs Harry Potter) 4) They both appear in a movie with Anthony Hopkins (don't know if this is relevant) 5)They both have appeared in a similar number of movies (around 80).
