Might be because he’s playing Shakespeare, would be obvious if he wasn’t British. He does a wonderful job that the Brit accent though, not overly posh just well spoken!!
When you recognize an ensemble member. One of the unsung hero's in shows. Just like with no orchestra, lights, staging and direction, without an ensemble you can't have a show.
I just stumbled upon the Legally Blonde Musical a few weeks ago and the first time I watched it I was attached to Christian Borle "Emmett Forrest" IMMEDIATELY. And I'm here watching him sing as Shakespeare
And it’s as if he went back toward that conductor thinking “are you serious dude??” - props to the band for jumping to the spot in the score but Christian could have been less douchey
@@colinsisk3240 I don't think he was being douchey. I'm actress and when performing on stage sometimes you mess up and need a quick sec to "access the damage" as in:How far you skipped? Did you miss lyrics? And if you might have to stop for the orchestra to catch up.
Actually Christian was on time, the band waited too long, maybe cause they thought they had to make room for the talking he did before he said the lyrics
Does anyone know what the name of the first ensemble singer on the inside right hand side ? I've seen him before but I can't remember where or what his name is.
