In some ways, most college students are in the same season of life. They are studying to earn degrees, thinking about careers and potential. But they can also be in dramatically different seasons. Some are eager to begin life after college, others are just getting used to life in college. Some are stable, others are in search of an anchor. Some have experienced great loss and others are the happiest they've ever been. Wherever you find yourself, we hope CFW 2013 can help you see how God can use every season of your life to draw you closer to Him.
This year's theme is "Seasoned" based on Ecclesiastes 3:11
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
Christian Focus Week is a time of spiritual emphasis designed to inspire, challenge, teach and equip students, faculty and staff to be more effective disciples of Jesus Christ. Classes are cancelled for one hour each morning for worship times and the university calendar is reserved to help us renew students' vision of God and reach out to people on campus with the Gospel.
Besides the main worship times, we offer breakout sessions during the afternoon and events for the evenings. We also bring missionaries and student mobilizers to campus to get students thinking about how they can serve Christ during the summer and after college.
