When I was younger, my sister used to also struggle with sleeping at night and she would get up and run into my room and ask for me to sit with her until she fell asleep, so I actually started putting Bible Verses in her room and prayed for her and she has started sleeping by herself and she tells me that she finds comfort in those verses!

I do a night routine similar to this at night!!! I call it my “peace time” because it’s so peaceful.

I am in tears... I am 54 years old and I would love if my 16 1/2 year old grandson would be so close to God again. He has been raised by us in church since birth. He is homeschooled and he was involved in many different Christian groups and activities. When he gave his heart to the Lord and was baptised he read his Bible and never missed church. Things went horribly downhill when he turned 15. Now he says there is no God! His whole personality is mean and rude. Please pray for him. His name is Cameron. Thank you very much.

Mimi's Life STAY At Home Wife My son started the same thing a few years ago. Im so confused. I too brought him up in church and a christian home, and then suddenly he says there is no God and says very mean hurtful things...

Before being married and having kids I had a similar routine in the evening enjoy this beautiful season in life where u can spend hours and hours in the lords presents as wife and momma know it’s a little hard to find those moments but not impossible ❤️ ❤️❤️

Same :( I have anxieties and doubts. And I know it doesnt come from God. So it is reall important to keep reminding us God's grace in His Word :) let's fight satan's lies with the TRUTH.

I have a lot of sweet friends, and I make sure I pray for them every night. I especially pray for my sweet friend Carie, who I’ve known for five years. She is such a blessing from God! She brings my dance class so much joy. She and I are always texting on Facebook, and her light shines so brightly for Jesus.

Thank you for sharing about your anxiety with sleeping...I too feel his way. My husband has worked out of town for three nights/week for the last ten years and every night I run through all the scenarios of what could happen while we (our two children and I) are trying to sleep (fire, break-in, etc.). I sleep with a fire extinguisher near my bed just to help me feel more secure. I pray before I fall asleep that God will surround our house with angels to protect us and that he will give me a peace that will allow me to trust him and get some rest. Anyway...it always helps to know that I’m not alone. Feeling alone can be so isolating and I can quickly feel like I’m crazy. There’s a big age/life stage difference between us, but your videos are still relevant to me and I appreciate you sharing!!

My night routine is very much like yours...even down to my tea. I journal before bed. I put a box at the right hand upper corner for all my struggles of the day. On the left side is everything positive. The bottom of the page is a prayer. Love it. Btw my bible study group is going to order your prayer journal. They saw mine and loved it.🧡

I’m beyond blessed that God placed you in my life, and that I got to spend the most amazing and life changing 5 months of my life with you by my side. girl I really needed this video!! Thank you so much for posting this, it was so sweet. I've been struggling with having anxiety before bed and so I wanted to figure out something to do where I can spend time with Jesus before bed, so this gave me a nice little model to follow!! I love the idea that God's word does not always have to be intense feelings of repentance and such but the fact that it is totally okay to bask in God's wonderful love. Its such a wonderful reminder that ultimately God doesn't judge you by how many verses you have memorized or how many good deeds you can do, He just loves you and wants to be with you. Take time to relax in God's wonderful love and safety y'all!!

I love it. I totally understand what you said in the beginning, that you didn't link night time with God. I'm also having that struggle and trying to improve on that.
