When listening to the recordings, I got the idea that Beethoven’s music was actually very human and accessible but became somewhat unearthly with decades of replaying and overthinking it. I wanted to bring it back to the very basic feels. I was jamming on my synths or on the piano to find melodies and sounds that kept the original idea but took it into my universe. My focus was to find little nostalgic moments that could make a good link to my music.

It never occurred to me that this would originally be a piece by a very rare and elite master of Music, Ludwig Van Beethoven, is only maybe just shy of being the greatest composer of all time, this takes away nothing from his original Emotion, yet brings in the present right in the middle of the brilliant past. This track will live on in time. Christian, you are a fine artist.. and a rare find yourself, bravo!

Die "Pastore" ist eines der schönsten Werke von Beethoven, wie ich finde. Er war ein sehr naturverbundener Mensch. Diese moderne Version von Christian Löffler finde ich ganz gut gelungen. Das Original gefällt mir aber doch etwas besser, weil emotionaler und leidenschaftlicher. 😉

Geht mir genauso. Die 6. Symphonie von Beethoven, insbesondere der 2.Satz (an den das werk hier angelehnt ist) ist für mich die Hymne an die Natur,das Leben, die Schöpfung.
