I hope you read this! Michelle Tumes was/is a Christian singer who was highly underrated. You should look into her stuff ; you 2 both have voices like instruments and would be amazing together.
Arthur won't get in Heaven, though. Not right away, anyways. He did try to make things better at the end, so I think he'll go to Purgatory for a while, and then be granted entrance to Heaven. Same for John.
@@jayive34 Saint Dismas, who was crucified next to Jesus, asked forgiveness for his sins and Jesus redeemed him, allowing entrance to Heaven. All according to the Bible, an honest regret and thirst for righteousness redeems one's sins.
When I played, I had Arthur at the lowest possible honor, and he encountered the blind seer prophet guy on the side of the road. Put a dollar in his cup and he said 'My friend, there are bad things coming your way... very bad....but afterwards.... Paradise!'
I recently lost my Mother to cancer. She was raised in the foothills of Kentucky. When I hear this song it reminds me of her. She was and still is a Godly Woman. Thanks for sharing this song. Beautiful Voice. Brother
@@ChristianLarsson She's in a better place. She's not struggling with air. She suffers no more. She's with Dad and her Parents, brothers and sisters. Reunion in Heaven.
i'm sorry for your loss. i also lost my dad to cancer 2 months ago. i understand what you feel. i was playing rdr2 when the first time i heard he got cancer. so this song also reminds me of my dad
Oh God I remember hearing this as we're rolling into the camp site near Valentine and thinking to myself "Oh God this game is going to be epic and put me on an emotional rollercoaster... isn't it?" The song just has the feeling of one of those big movies that's really good but incredibly depressing. Hard to explain more than that
I played the first game before the second. That scene felt more like a funeral procession rather then a convoy. Knowing full well that eventually. Poor jack would be the only one left. Alone. With nothing and no one.
You released this the day before I gotta bury my dog whom I’ve grown up with since I was just a kid. Goddamn this pours salt in the wound, but it’s also comforting, knowing that she’ll be reunited with her sister and my two other dogs whom she has lived with. Now it’s time for her to go.
Man, I know how it feels. My family had to put down our dog almost two years ago. It hurts like hell, but we all know that they will rest easy and peacefully without all the pain. It's tragic and sad, but it's for the greater good. The most important thing is to remember all the good times, the memories and be thankful to have had such a beautiful friend being a part of this life on earth. Thank you for your kind words.
Man.. my dog (which is like family to me) is now sick and on her way out. Couple weeks/months to go. I'm working for weeks now to learn to play this song for that inevitable day. Crazy how i stumbled on your comment. This version is perfect to process (thanks Christian)
@@rainsplashwarrior7725 Ok this is exactly what happened to me today. Exactly the same thing. I've been looping this video since I came back from the vet
Awesome, thanks for considering! It’s probably my favourite RDR2 song, although that has also to do with its amazing scene. That scene was probably the happiest moment in the game. It stuck with me so much that I recreated it on the piano myself. I definitely don’t want to advertise, but maybe you’d like that video too. In any case I love your covers dude, I can’t wait for your future content!
That’s kind of you, thanks. It’s my second last video! Seeing your poll I guess you’re going to cover Cruel, Cruel World next, which is also an amazing song!
Red dead 2s ending was one of the most emotional endings i have seen and played. The part that had me balling was when Arthur says goodbye to Abigail and Abigail gives him the key to the chest and she says, "I was always a good thief." I was crying like a baby at that part. :'(
Dayum, when i heard the Lady singing this song, i was mind blown by her delivery. I've always thought on how it would sound like if a male tried to sing this, and here you are!! So majestic man! Really blends into the world of RDR2!!
Good morning, I'm from Brazil.. My nephew started having an anxiety attack, I started playing this song during his crisis, even though I didn't know the lyrics, he calmed down... to this day he calms down listening to your voice, keep going, don't stop! and thank you.
Holy shit I thought there would be some decent covers of this song but this hugely exceeded my expectations. Your version brought tears to my eyes and I get goosebumps every time I listen. Thank you so much x
My god, this song. I cant describe this song... Its like its enveloped by all the swetness, all the madness, the sadness... the majestic vastness of life. Great cover.
This proves there's always gonna be people who just dislike for no legit or good reason. No Person in their right mind could dislike such a beautiful voice.
My uncle died a couple of weeks ago and he _absolutely loved_ this game. One day I might be able to listen to this without crying. Not for a long time, though...
if people are making requests , possible for a "deadman's gun" cover from the end credits of red dead 1? hearing that in your heavenly voice would be incredible but thank you for the songs you have done!
Everytime I click on a RDR2 Cover from you, I know that I will begin to tear up because your music is so powerful and brings back great memories with Arthur Morgan. Thank you sir
My mother died in 2008. She tried her best to raise me and my brother the best she could… she was alone and had difficulties with the alcohol… and lost the battle. Even though, this song has only a single verse, but this means a complete childhood to me. I hope that she knows that her effort was not in vain. I kind of feel relieved after listening to this song. I don’t have the chance to pay back the care you had been giving us, but I will never forget the effort you did to us. Rest in peace, Mother. Thank you Christian for breaking up the ice. This song means a lot🥹 (even if this was not your intention). Keep up the awesome work and heal the soul of others👍

Dang...this song seriously gives me chills every time I hear it.....easily probably my favorite Video Game Soundtrack ever now. Especially at the 1:30 mark....this cover is so freaking unbelievably good....this man deserves a damn Award for how good these covers really are. It's a huge freaking shame he only has 5,000 Subscribers....he deserves way more.
I lost my youngest son to msuicide recently. I think of him every minute I'm awake. This song and your singing makes me cry and joyfully. When I cleaned his car out, I found a Bible on his back seat that I didn't know he had. I hope I measure up to seeing him again in heaven.
Man, wish there was a 10hr loop of this cover, I'm tired of hitting repeat. You, sir, do justice to an epic song in the greatest videogame ever made. I can honestly see that fire in your eyes!
I've listened to just about every one of your RDR2 covers tonight. Outstanding work, brother. Your music transports me into the heart of that game. Arthur Morgan would be proud.
Awesome cover. You do these songs justice. Thank you for this. I have a request. Far away by Jose Gonzalez. It is from RDR 1. Please please please cover that song. For the people that play as John Marston for almost a decade. That would be greatly appreciated
At 1:32 I felt chills run through my body ; I glanced at my arms noticing that I had goosebumps. Along with thr hairs standing straight up. What a beautifully made cover.
My father passed way when I was almost finishing the game, I stopped to play for some weeks and then when I back to play and listen this song that was the same to get a punch in the face.. this game is epic!
Dude, first I would like to thank God and also you for providing me with this incredible song ... especially on a day like today. I just received the news that my grandmother, the grandmother who raised me, had a heart attack at 2:00 am today ... this song, somehow, reminds me of her, as if she was still here with me ... that was it, a big hug from Brazil.
