Great movie that seemed truly authentic , acting was great and the best part of the movie is bringing the gospel of my Lord Christ Jesus as the main point of the movie, especially when the youth pastor talked about how the waves can cut back in a direction different than the current one that a surfer is going, like life, which direction is best for one's life and I can say unequivocally, Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
Terrible movie. The Christian teens drink beer at a party, for one. Then there's drunk driving. And the exercising of the body (surfing) is given priority over getting a good education. The son disobeys his parents too. His mother fights her husband on his decision regarding the son. Not a Christian movie, just a secular movie sprinkled with some church words.

All I see is them amusing themselves, with no love for neighbour @ all. apostle John wrote, if you don't love people, the love of God is not in you. I said, why Christian movies have to have an accident, but there’s a place for all the scenarios. Write a different one and produce it. I’m going through horror write now with community/ city gang stalking, yet this movie had my Vision in it, so I’m trying to say, God can work through and with anything, so can we. See God speaking to you in that part that’s especially for you because there is know incidents in Christ. We just miss it when we critic when we should be watching for God in all things. Besides as Believers we know the truth, but a sinner that happen to run across the movie may not. And isn’t that the whole point, to reach sinners? Hold the line Saints! That was an awesome movie. You know I wished that I had been that smart back then to accept 😢 JESUS that young. I became a Christian two years and seven months ago. It took me a long time to get to the level of intelligence to realize that I needed the LORD. That was the smartest decision that I ever made. I'm so glad 😊 that we have a merciful God. I didn't deserve this chance. 😪 I'm 58 years old. This is for all the young people out there. Please don't be as stupid as me except the LORD and live your life in peace. As for all the older folks out there, it's never too late. JESUS CHRIST LOVES US ALL! Thank God. 😊

What an amazing movie! It makes me think of my last relationship as she was the one who introduced me to God and helped me grow in my faith much like Emily does in the movie and I'm forever grateful for God putting us together. It might not have worked out and I'm still not sure if that was God's plan or me straying from his path but I now live for God and let whatever he has planned happen as he is the Alpha and Omega and only he knows what's best for us in the path to eternal glory❤️ I love you Father and may God Bless you all🙏🏻

I lost my dad when l was 1year and l grew without seeing him and how he looks like, it was such a terrible moment to catch up with life until 2016 where by God called me from the world so now l am got peace down inside my heart the peace that this world couldn't give me, this movie reminded me that God is Able

Absolutely Susan, I used to live in California and starting from Malibu to San Diego, there are many places that you can learn to surf. I now live in Washington and regret not learning to surf when I lived there. Even with your disability, there must be a place that will help you to learn to surf. I am going to do a research to see which beach can assist you. If I find some info, I will get back with a reply

No one goes to heaven by ‘giving their life to Christ’ . Salvation is not a position that is gained by trading your life for it . Changing one’s life can’t save anyone . Saved by faith , not of yourselves , ‘gift’ of God ‘not’ of works . Accepting the death payment that Jesus made for us upon the cross as our own payment , is the only way to go to heaven , Jesus is The Savior , not Jesus and you , and , he needs no help from us , to save us ! The pathetic attempt this movie made at giving the gospel is about the same as not giving it at all . This movie is however , a great illustration of the plague that has overtaken the church of today . No clarity ! Feel good terms that need to be further explained to the lost because the lost does not know the ‘church language’ . In my experience , the church language , when a lost person hears it , simply brings confusion for the most part . What would be so horribly wrong with presenting the gospel , you know , how people get saved , in terms that are so clear that you don’t have to go back and try to explain what ‘give your heart to Jesus , actually means ? So clear , that the gospel is understood by the listener the first time he hears it ? I’m just saying …
Sinners cannot enter God's kingdom by doing good works, by keeping commandments and being good people. There are no good people - only God is good, Jesus said. Unless you are absolutely, perfectly sinless from birth to death ( or when Jesus comes ) you will not enter God's kingdom. Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees you cannot enter the kingdom of God Jesus said. This is why all sinners NEED the righteousness (sinlessness) of Christ that He earned by living a sinless life here on earth - and that righteousness is only imputed to the repentant sinner that puts his/her full trust in the work that Jesus did on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Nothing can be added - no good works, no human virtues, nothing. There is no other way - which is why Jesus said : "I am the way, the truth and the life - no one comes to the Father except thru me"
You have to do on your own - friends parents jobs moneys - you have to do on your own - be yourself - then of course things happen - even if there's god (gods) or not😊
I like these Christian movies now, they are not heroes running around killing everyone. However, they as so bloody corny. There is nothing real about them they are not far removed from Hollywood.
Absolutely dislike movies where they have God all wrong! Where God's character is marred and butchered!!! It is never God's plan to take lives! God's Word to us is that it is "the devil who comes to steal, kill & destroy BUT Jesus came that we might have life and have it in abundance"🎊 God is not up one day and down another. The Word Of God was just beginning to be planted in these boys lives and the bible says that satan comes to steal this Word. "...these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them." God has great plans for each of us
I find it weird how the youth pastor is always only a couple years older than the teens they teach. It's like how in the Bible the young king listened to his friends who were his own age instead of the elders. It's not always wise to have someone so young teaching people who are only a few years younger
When a person is a born again believer and is filled with the Holy spirit, they can minister to whoever God chooses, because the Holy Spirit has no age 😆
