I always wanted to visit Mount Athos and was finally able to go for 3 days in June 2018. I stayed two days in Vatopedi and one in Xenofontos monastery, where I witnessed the ceremony whereby a man from Finland (a FInn, not a Russian) became a monk.
I visited Vatopedi in June 2018, stayed two days, when the Abbot gave a speech, he told the russians in the room to go next room where they had a translation.

Where could I find the music for this particular hymn, or at least the name of this hymn? I thought the vesperal doxastiko for the Holy Belt was in second tone: "Ως στέφανον υπέρλαμπρον". Thank you for any help! God bless!
