A lot of prayer praise and worshipping and now 5 months later I have bought a house and everyone has their own room, have a new car, and got to keep my dog. The Lord has seen me through my struggles, and I literally shed tears sometimes as to how grateful I am. I am a sinful man but I try hard to walk by faith and let the Lord lead me. Never heard anything about christ. That's the problem with social media it's a snipit of a larger story. It could be Chriat or anything else the song is referring to. Lots of groups worship and idolize beings other than Christ. Those groups also use alters. Without hearing the entire song noone can determine the true intentions of the lyrics. All the Christians who are trying to be positive and assuming it's Christ being referenced like to quote scripture about praising and lifting voices up. However, they forget their own religion teaches that there is another power that wants to be God. If he knows the power of song and wants to be God as this religion teaches, then why would he not mislead people with songs and want the praise? Also, the Bible says that good on earth will be evil and evil on earth will be good at some point. Assuming this is also true and observing the flip in morals currently happening, would this not be a warning? Christians are warned of the great deceiver being cunning and to use righteous judgment. It warns that doing good in public is not actually good. So why assume a 60-second clip of someone singing is Godly? I suppose it could be but is 60 seconds enough time to determine that while typing "Amen" or regurgitating scripture? It's always the same scripture that's pasted in every video as well. Why are people encouraging videos of people donating on camera or singing a song? Should they not do that anyways? Crazy how some people will do anything for views. Last week I was having the hardest time. My cup was not feeling full and I was still expected to pour from an empty cup. I prayed and prayed and asked God if he was listening and if so then to send me what ever it is that I needed. Man when I heard your music I cried. I shared it with anyone and everyone. And when I tell you I feel so full I can’t explain it. Your music was exactly what I didn’t know I needed but God knew and he gave it to me. One of the closest times I feel to Jesus is through worship, whether that be music or me on my knees in my room just spending time telling him how much I love and appreciate him. I have felt that since I could remember. I remember being 3/4 years old screaming worship in my car seat in the back of my mom's car and we went to church no less than twice a week. My mom made sure Jesus was in our lives. I was blessed enough to find a man that has the love I do for Christ. EVERY morning on our way to work, we praise Jesus together by listening to worship and it's the first thing we do together and it always makes the day so much better! It's my favorite thing we do lol. But we only listen to Christian worship period. My point is.. if you are a real follower of Christ then your feelings will only grow stronger for him each day. I can never imagine losing feelings for him. He was tortured, beaten to where they couldn't even recognize him as a human being, and died for my sins no matter if my feelings for him go away or not. As senior citizen and very much a woman of God I have discovered Christian rap, Forrest Frank was the person I listened to on the radio his song No longer Bound really moved me, I find i enjoy listening to it is real and it is the words that matter. We should judge how our young people sing praises unto God as long as they it's from the heartfelt sincere praises to the only true and living God.
My grandmother has told me stories of when her church put a grand piano in that people said it wasn’t Christ like because it wasn’t the music they were used to in the hymnals. Change scares people but so long as the music praises God and brings people to Christ it pleases him.
Becuase God is not a God of change you can bring life to hymns through instruments but when the music sounds like the world then it loses the anointing. Means the difference and separation of holy and unholy and there should be a difference not just the words but how it sounds

For many of us young people, it’s songs like these infused with scripture that gets up through the hard times. When I was in university with lust and many vices trying to pull me down, a friend shared Swoope’s Sinema album with me. That album reminded me of how the temptations can be so enticing but lead to so much suffering later. I am ever grateful to that friend, to Swoope and to God for saving me through that album.

Nothing seems evil about the lyrics or movements. I think there should be more Christian rap music glorifying God vs secular rap about robbing, drugs, killing, and fornication.
