I deeply love this woman. She is beyond feminism and is better than most men in her ethics and her willingness to seek the truth. She doesn't waste time playing games. Survival is more important to her than "beauty". I'm concerned about her cancer. I send her healing and remind her that she is the most important person in her life always and most importantly NOW. Take care of yourself.
Why because her lies Led to bombing of Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Lybia , Iraq, Syria, Serbia, etc. She is a Wahingtons best presstitute and the fact that you live her means you are an ignorant idiot who cant deduce facts from lies.
This woman is simply amazing. I admire her so much. She is wise, brave, eloquent, and passionate. I have so much to learn, and I am encouraged by her to commit to the things that matter most to me.
I am a huge fan of this journalist, but I wonder how she sees the current conflict and the response by the Israeli government. I took believe journalist need to take moral stands when presenting what is happening. Great journalist, great interview and surely must be an inspiration to other women. Thank you for this presentation. I believe women have a greater role to play in establishing a more peaceful world. I like many women join, led, and participated in the southern civil rights movement, yet we are rarely given the recognition we deserve. Thank you for this interview.
Interview took place May 9, 2011 It seems incredible this channel has not done another update Interview with Christiane Amanpour. This Interview is 13 years old!!! Christine warrants the Respect to have the last 13 years of her life to share with us…if she so wishes. By this I mean, in particular her voice and career up to now April 2024. For instance her awesome Program on PBS…and so much more. From the first time I heard and saw Christiane reporting live in a ‘conflict area’, her strength and fearlessness was evident. Her resolve to stand up for Truth… she is Principled… a woman of Substance. Thank you for all you do to help make this world a better place. We are blessed and grateful for your service to mankind…. for your Light and Wisdom.🌟
I love and always loved watching Christiane Amanpour. I immediately, even as a child seeing her reports on CNN, trusted her. I'm just some southern kid in the US and gay, which had an impact in looking for a feminine strength. She has been so impressive, strong, intelligent but also very grounded. I wasn't afraid hearing her tell us what was happening then and now. She doesn't insult the audience's intelligence. She reports in a way that even as a young man, intrigued me. She made us want to be aware of what was happening in the world.
I have respected and admired Christiana for so many years! Once I saw her hurry through an airport, dressed for a mission it appeared, such a memorable experience to have the honor to see her in person! I I wish her continued strength and love!!
I would love to visit Iran one day. What a beautiful woman Christiane is... intellectually, spiritually and cosmopolitan. Can you find any Woman or person for that matter with all those qualities in today's world?
(Pancha Chandra): Journalism is a challenging profession especially when telling the truth is the main aim. Yes, ethical journalism certainly keeps us on the straight and narrow; we question politicians when they follow unwise policies! The Truth is our guiding star! Christiane Amanpour is a wonderful role model!
Christiane I have admired for years , she is warm and friendly , with so much compassion and understanding of the human condition . She is courageous and adventurous , both in her travels and in her interviews and writings 💕
I admire and love her grit. I've been gripped by her interviews and reporting for years. It was a relief to watch her respectfully ask powerful people tough, honest questions and hold them accountable to give honest answers. She's been a marvel to watch. Thank you for this inspiring interview.
She is absolutely an amazing human. Her integrity and brilliance has always captured my attention. One of the best examples of a great journalist. What a mind. Thank you…I am very proud of you
Many, if not most, cultures (including ours) do not assign proper respect to the role of mother and homemaker! We ARE equal copartners, whether or not we continue to be mistreated. This is true whether we are or are not in the workforce.
Ch ~ look up ris ~ a drink tia ~ an Aunt n~ fingertip ? The name is meant for folks whoa parents or grandparents lived within range of the effects of crossing society. Yes, we did.
Christians is truly a breath of fresh air. Not only do I have a great respect for her, she demands respect. She has rightfully earned it. I wish I could say the same about some women who hold positions not because they deserve it but just because they are women. That is not good for any one concerned.
Id i were denied a family for too many years if life and tried to chase my family accountm id gace to come here abd id hve to say i might have some Mideast in my fanily tree, yes. Hospital leads everyone into life. Thats early here.
As someone who knows the conflict in the Balkan very well from personal experience, I can tell you that you know nothing about her work! As she said in her interview, get some purpose in life Mark and do not worry about her worth. She makes it clear that she knows her worth. Do you know yours?
@@illyriumus2938 what are you talking about? She grew up wealthy under the shah who was a puppet tyrant of THE US. Her family fled to the US because the common Iranians would have killed them. She's a traitor.
She wrote that we can live without sex but not without touch. Yeah earlier today I was watching a woman hold her husbands arm and another with her arm on his shoulder . I reflected how it has been about a decade since my wife essentially retired from being a wife. No contact since then. Almost no talking is lately. I initiate all conversation and get little response back. I do outstanding amazing things that should illicit some positive response. Nope. So few women today know how to return love.
I don't like her. She is a propagandist, and she acts like she isn't one, and she chose career over family. I don't care what feminists say. That leads to unhappiness for a woman. She has no idea what life is about and how the world works. A silly woman held up to confuse other women...
@@barbaradobson9298 How am I sad? She recently got criticized for interviewing Queen Rania just because she showed the slightest sympathy for her fellow Arab, the Palestinians. She is sad.
