Christians in Gambia say they hope they will no longer be marginalised.
Many say they endured years of repression under the rule of former President Yahya Jammeh.

Come on aljazeera! Christians in The Gambia were never persecuted. The gambians and the senegaleses don't care what religion you practice. Christians and muslims live in harmony in these two countries.
