Thank you for the wisdom and guidance to have fruitful conversations. My son-in-law is Muslim and comes from very devout parents. They are wonderful salt of the earth people and I’m praying that they would have a deeper and true understanding of who the Jesus of the Bible is.
Lord Jesus Christ APPEARED and touched many Muslims - Iran and Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and Egypt, etc. They have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Pray for your son in law and the Holy Spirit will touch and reveal the truth about Jesus Christ.
To have a true understanding of Jesus, one must look beyond the Bible because it doesn't accurately reflect his life. What the first Christians and disciples believed about Jesus is what your Muslim son-in-law believes about Jesus and those were the people who knew him best.
I recently watched the testimony of a Muslim that was saved by Jesus halfway through tawaf and right in front of the Black Stone. For that moment in time he was the 1 in 100...and Jesus walked right into the belly of the beast to save him. What an amazing God we serve ❤
Islam is a kind of copy of Judaism and Christianity by what was made known in 300 - 600 B.C. mixed with heathen traditions (e.g.the Kaaba) So the Islamists don't have the original scriptures and are missing the major points of faith..
There are no similarities between Christianity and Islam. People only ask questions like do they worship the same God because they lack knowledge on both religions.
There are some similarities but, as far as being the same God, Islam is clear and firm on who God and Jesus are while Christianity and Christians are not which is why the question is ongoing.
Incidentally when it comes to Jesus and bible Muslims prefer to follow opinions of scholars than Quran. Then in Quran some of the unclear verses have to do with Jesus

Why did God do that or does the living God of the Bible, that died, not plan all the events to happen in the world? The Bible does say God had regret which means he makes mistakes and doesn't know the future. Is that what you believe about God? Why do you think he hasn't revealed Muhammad and his religion to be false then yet? False prophets have always been revealed in short time. And the Bible says to know when a person speaks from God you test what they say as true and we can't find anything false about Muhammad. Why did God of the Bible let men change and corrupt the book and leave it with so many mistakes, contradictions and fabrications then hold us to that "truth" when it's not even all true? And will he throw Muslims into a lake of fire for eternity when they'd be literally following the Bible in accepting Muhammad as a prophet? It's not a very logical or merciful plan.

The concept of 3 persons in One Being is found in the Tehillim, for example, #110, where God is speaking to...God...as God inspires David to record the conversation. Yeshua actually uses that Psalm to claim divinity when challenged by the Pharisees, since the Son of Man from Daniel's vision cannot be just a mortal man descended from David, or else David would not have addressed him as Lord.

What would make you think Allah is evil? The Quran does not say to kill all others. That's what the Bible says to do to anyone that calls to another religion, not Allah in the Quran.
WHAT IS IN THE NAME MUHAMMAD? Well, in the biography by Ibn Ishaq written about the Arabian Founding Father and entitled "Sirah Rassul Allah," the author informs us that the pagans in Mekka were mocking the "Prophet" because he didn't have a male heir as his wife, Khadijah, gave birth only to girls(4). Yet, in the same breath he proceeds to explain that Abu Quasim, which literally means "father of Quasim," was given to him as a nickname because of his son Quasim. When did he have that son, then? Yet according to the same source, the only son born to him was by his Egyptian wife Mary the Coptic of the Egyptian Orthodox Church. The boy was named Ibrahim and NOT Quasim and was born in Medina(Yathrib) and not Mekka. He died in infancy. So, If we follow the Arab-Qureishites custom of naming fathers after their first born sons, as the biographer made it out to sound, wouldn't "Father of Ibrahim" be the proper moniker to refer to him? Even If we assume that Ibrahim was also called Quasim, there is no logical explanation for Khadijah to call her husband by that name(Abu-Quasim). She died in Mekka way before Ibrahim was born. More to the point, what to make of Abu Bekr, Abu Suffyan, Abu Lahab, etc? Were they also respectively father of Bekr, Suffyan, or Lahab? Ummmm... It turns out, Abu Quasim appears to be his maternal name which the authors cited above were trying to hide in order to better run their propaganda as they sought to capitalize on the pilgrimage to the Kaabah in Mekka which is associated with him and not with Jesus. By the way, the First Arab believers in Medina were facing Jerusalem for their 3 and not 5 daily prayers and the reason the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem was circular in form was to replace the Kaabah in Mekka too much associated with idol worship. Interestingly enough, in a separate incident, a pagan warlord once declined to appose his signature to a treaty unless "Muhammad" signs his real name? which proves that his contemporaries knew that Muhammad was not his real name. IN LIGHT OF WHAT IS SAID ABOVE, WE CAN ARGUE THAT MUHAMMAD IS NOT A BIRTH NAME BUT A MESSIANIC TITLE USED AS SUBSTITUTE FOR MESSIAH(CHRIST). Remember when Jesus asked, "Who will assist me in the way of God? The disciples replied, 'We shall be the Helpers of God; bear Witness that we are Muslims..." Surah 3:52; 5:111. Islam had always claimed to be a Christian Apostolic Tradition(Acts 15:1-32), Tradition opposed to the Bishops of Rome until the 9th century when Ibn Ishaq, Al-Bukhari and the rest of the Hadiths collectors turned it into a separate and full blown religion. The Jews of today mostly don’t have a true faith in God they started a new religion after the destruction of Jerusalem and the exile of most of the serving Jews and tolerates Islam before Christianity yet there more about the messiah in the teachings of Tanakh Jesus Christ fulfilled these teachings more than the Quran it’s about the unity of the persons of God from Genesis to second Chronicles
The beginning of the Gospel of John describes only two beings at the beginning, God and The Word, who became the Father and Jesus Christ, no mention of the holy spirit. the trinity is not supported by anything in the Bible!
If you read anything past John you'd see it, but since you do t have the Spirit you have no way to grasp the hidden truths of the Bible.. God did that ON PURPOSE to HIDE the deeper truths from people like you who think themselves wise but will burn for your foolishness.

And the Holy Spirit does much, much more. While experiences with the Holy Spirit can’t be manufactured, they can be nurtured. Breathe deeply of the Holy Spirit, and drink deeply of the living waters Jesus’ promised. The Church of Jesus Christ is given the gift of the Holy Spirit-for the sake of the world. Receive the Holy Spirit!! the Trinitarian furnishings of the creation account come into clear focus. God creates the heavens and the earth through his Word (“and God said”) and by his Spirit (“hovering over the face of the waters”). In fact, the Trinitarian pattern of divine operation is repeated with every creative utterance of God. The repeated pattern of divine speech, followed by the actualization of what is spoken, is a Trinitarian pattern. Consider the first creative utterance on day one: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). The words “God said” refer to the Father, who speaks forth his Word. The spoken words themselves, “Let there be light,” invite us to contemplate and adore the Son, the Word through whom the world was made. Finally, the statement “and there was light” invites us to worshipfully recognize the Holy Spirit hovering over the earth and bringing to completion the word of the Father.
I don't see how? The whole chapters of John 14-17 have Jesus explaining the person of the Holy Spirit and His distinct work once Jesus leaves. Plus "Go and baptize them in the Name(singular) of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I don't see how somebody could read John through and come away with Holy Spirit not being a person. Jesus goes so far as referring to Holy Spirit as a "He."
@@SuperKlizzard Jesus doesn't say much of anything in John that can be proven. It's not considered a historically accurate or true gospel. It's a Johannine literary developed product; the author made up most of the things he put on Jesus' lips.
Jesus says " Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, etc. Allah says in surah 9:5 "Kill the non muslims wherever you find them, ambush them, etc. How can we have the same God?
Huh? Jesus said the same if he's God in the Bible when he told men to kill the women, children and even babies in war. The Bible says "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people." Who is that from??
