This is the best track from the best album. I've already listened to this track more than 1000 times and I'm not tired of it. The middle of the track is very powerful and extremely atmospheric. For me, Demanufacture is the best album in the history of heavy metal. 11/10

The really chilling thing was how prescient Burton was with the concepts behind Demanufacture and Obsolete. I know most of his source material was dystopian sci-fi, but listening to these albums as a teenager in the mid-90s and thinking wow this is some dark and heavy (lyrically and metaphorically) stuff. 20+ plus years later and we are in the world Burton was imagining and singing about, and the lyrics and meaning take on whole new meaning.

This song slaps. This whole albums slaps. Great Songs, Great lyrics, and the outro just murders.

Bell's vocals were at their best with this album and one of GZR's albums that he did vocals for in the same time period.

I don’t know of the lyrics of this song can be described by itself because the entire album tells a dystopian story between machines and humans

Brilliant band and one of my favourites. I got in to this band from the original release of Carmageddon! I'm not Christian or even religious, but I still believe there is something out there greater than us or even a creator of some sorts, or ancient race from a time we cannot trace back to.

I think the song is about where civilisation advances so much with technology that they begin to worship the machines and this is a person who has come to realise that what they are doing is leading them to destruction.

What I love about this is that anti christ songs tend to be dark, angry, negative and aggressive where as this is more of a questioning of Christianity. Clever and thought provoking

This is a later slowed down/no gutteral vocal version, The original was from 1991 when Fear Factory sounded more like a death metal band. The early version of Pisschrist was on a later album called Concrete, a collection of early songs and their first two demos

Crazy how some people believe what's written in an old book and don't question it. I believe in a God, I'm very spiritual. Doesn't mean I have to believe in a certain book that was clearly written by man to control the world. Why would God make us just to so we can worship him? Isn't that selfish and self centered? What if Jesus was the devil? Maybe he's the one that wanted worship so he lied and said he was the son of God so he can be the one to get all the worship. It makes more sense seeing how the whole world is all fucked up. You would think the world would be a peaceful place with so many "believers" out there. Just my 2 cents.
