Christiansen Amusements overhauled their 1980 Chance Zipper for the 2011 season.
The Zipper was off the road for most of the 2011 season as it was being overhauled and finally made its 2011 appearance at the Ventura County Fair.
Notable changes include new paint scheme from teal to metallic blue on the trailer, a repainted frame, new fluorescent lighting, increased speed, new signage, and new panels on the cages.
Filmed with the Canon XHA1 in 1080i HDV at 24 frames per second.

nice video. this is the style of zipper i grew up seeing so it's pretty cool to see an older style fixed up and shot so well. lots of memories.

This is some fabulous camera work! High quality, excellent angles, and quite addictive to watch, too. I almost felt as if you were clinging on to the front while filming! Haha! I love watching ride videos that are at least have some decent camera angles. You hit it spot on! Again, thanks for posting, and two thumbs up on the video!
