This is the best (worst) case example of features ruining a song. The ad-libing by Ty was pure trash. Like, laughable hot garbage. He single-handedly ruined most of this song for me. And we could have done without 2Chainz's part too, but at least his part was enjoyable......it just didn't sound like it fit. This song could have been so much better solo, but definitely with fucking Ty, god that man should be sued for ruining a song this badly.

Idk why people are complaining about the video being sexual. Christina has ALWAYS been VERY sexual. BEFORE Miley, before all the girls in this generation. This is who she is. I feel she’s doing the same thing with this album as she did with STRIPPED , she’s giving us an OK first single to deliver an amazing full album. She never uses her best songs as her first single for some reason and I feel she’s also trying to cater to a younger audience with the sound, her older fans have not been supportive of her older sound like lotus and bionic so she needs to go and reach for a new market. I have the feeling this song will grow so much and will get so much radio play it will be a top ten on the charts but the one with Demi will probably be the one with a lot of success. Demi will help bring in a new demographic for her. Until then let’s buy her single and pre order her album. We wanted her back so we got her back not a belter song like we expected but a great song that will lead to an amazing album. Let’s be supportive . Can’t wait to have the Melody on one of my videos on my RU-vid Channel .

As much as I don’t like the unnecessary adlibs, this song is pretty addictive. While having cereal, I just go “YOu’Re COMinG hOmE WiTh mE” Lowkey think this song will be one of the ‘ahead of it’s time’ songs. @@saumya7612 definitely not always.. But ahead of time here means like the taste a generation holds in. 2010s music is different than 90s music and 90s music different than 60s. It’s like evolution, constantly changing and refining except that it depends on the opinion of the audience or just general taste. RnB music won’t be much liked by 60s people who had Rock n Roll as the famous music genre. Eg- Today’ Travis Scott, Tekashi, maybe Drake too won’t be liked by older millennials who listened to Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar etc. So, we never know, our generation likes Pop, r&b artists like Doja Cat etc. The future might like this type of music created or may like something extremely contrary to this

Mainstream music has been trending towards minimalism ever since the loud/aggressive electro-pop of the late 2000's/early 2010's fell out of favor. I think you're right. The industry really tried to push the whole "warm disco" thing, but it feels like we're still in some weird post-trap trop-pop era that refuses to end. I wish Kanye wasn't so crazy, he is one of the few artists out there who will willingly push mainstream music into new territory just because he feels like doing it. It's such a shame he's such an unstable asshole.

So I'll be honest not what I was expecting.... but I've had it on repeat on Spotify and it's a growing on me. I don't like the video though, it's just a little strange - Christina is a fabulous performer the video doesn't do her justice. However I'm excited for this era - Xtina has never ever given us what we expected, she has always changed her style through the years. Looking forward to the album. Definitely surprises in store.

People are so quick to judge. If she doesn't return with a power ballad, than it's automatically awful. I am sucker for vocals and ballads myself but you do realize that it' s the first song out of 15 ? Eventually all the vocals we want to hear will come. I suppose that some of ya'll heard the solo version of "Fall in line" ? This song is truly beautiful and she clearly delivers vocally, so I can't imagine what it's gonna be with Demi. On "Accelerate", I was also searching for a big vocal moment but it's also good that she chose not too show to much. People accuse her all the time of oversinging. But here she is criticized for not showing enough. What do you want ? Like I said the vocals we want to hear will come eventually. As for the beat, yes it's really modern, hip hop, like we often hear these days but even if she seems to follow a trend, we know that Christina often reinvents herself. She try new things and it's great. It's just a taste and the entire album will probably have a variety of sounds.

I am a diehard fan of hers but this was very disappointing. When you've been away for 6 years you gotta come back strong to leave a good taste in people's mouths and keep them interested. I will keep supporting her no matter what but do you really think alot of other people will be eager to hear more from her after this? Fall in line was amazing and I was very optimistic when she announced more music was coming today but this didn't deliver. I absolutely hate to say it but I smell yet another commercial failure.

Then there are those who can't get enough of her glorious ballads, these fans cant stand her do anything else that doesn't showcase her vocals. There are fans who cannot move on from Stripped with those amazing RnB tracks. I cannot think of any other artists with these many types of fans..and when you think about it, it's because of her awesome versatility. Every first single is polarising lol.

Divine Fleming It’s not that she has to belt out. In fact, I appreciated that she didn’t do that. But, this was poorly produced. The beat was weird and didn’t really sync together with her signing. I blame Kanye, who produced this. I think if someone else would have produced it with different beat and better chorus it might have been a Dirty 2.0 but that was not the case unfortunately. 🙁

Xtina fans are so hard to please. If she comes out "screaming" its a problem. If she comes out with something chill, you all still complain. One last thing, I'm in no way saying blindly stan, however, keep in mind streams and sales matter in this day and age more than ever. That means low streams and low sales mean labels stop promoting the album and NO TOUR. It all goes hand in hand. At the very least stream the music.
