I always go back to this performance once in a while to remind myself how great Christina Aguilera was. As a huge huuuuuggeee fan, I wish she did a full rock album. She's got the voice, the moves, the attitude, the stage presence and that finesse. She would totally nailed it if she did it after Stripped. But anyway...
True.. imagine her rock album with rock persona after stripped and then followdled by a completely different persona with her Back to basics album.. it would have been mega legendary!
Of all the mainstream pop artists I always thought Christina Aguilera was probably the best. I wouldn’t call myself a fan, but at least she had actual talent, and as far as I’m aware never relied on playback.
@@Patrick-ow5um Not sure about that. I've always loved Paul's voice and love Queen. No one can ever or should even try to step into Freddie's whole aura, cocksuradness, power, and composer. Both were actually. I never liked Christina until I saw this video. She has a stunning voice too.
@@Patrick-ow5um I recently watched and listened to Queen, Joe Elliot and Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift. I was embarrassed for them but the crowd loved it.
What she did at such a young age!!! I watched that in 2002, I was already mesmerized by Stripped but this comforted me that she was a beast even before Stripped! I loved her ever since. Fast forward in 2022 and I’m still a fighter ❤️💎
After all these years after this special of her My Reflections snow came out , I still come here to watch these performances from this night. She killed it. All that soul and power coming out that little tiny body. Damn 🔥🔥
This girl can SING! For real! You can hate all you want but you can never DENY that she HAS IT! I bet Paul would have been proud to see a girl with this magnitude of talent rocking this song.
@@BackyardRambo Ya, I agree. Also, since she left the lyrics as is, does this mean a lesbian/gay angle? Curious. Janis Joplin sang and made famous a song written for her by Kris Kristofferson.(Me and Bobby Mcgee). It was put into lyrics as "Bobby". When Kris eventually sang it, it was " Bobbie. One little word, whole different meaning. I really think Paul Rogers would have an opinion towards this version. Maybe.
@@turboplazz Most guitarists butcher it and virtually every guitarist that has ever attempted this song fails to play it the same way as Paul Kossoff did on the Free original.
Yup that she can sing such a strong powerful voice and beautiful voice as well one of the very best singers of all time u go girl she nailed this song and sang it real good yes she truly is a rock star
This is really good hahaha I love the original and I like this version. Christina really can sing well. No doubting that. And then love band did it justice too 100%
This is the best she's looked, moved and sang in ages. She nailed this song hard and I was a HUGE Bad Company fella in the 70's and the way she covered this was amazing and natural. Sh*t, she has range!
Ariana Grande is actually a really great singer who can cover Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston's songs. But Britney couldn't sing to save her life, Katy is really average and so is Rihanna.
Xtina is my fav artist in universe.....but ariana is a great singer too....and omg...please never mix this names again...Xtina the artist and shitney the pop shit!
I love this cover, Christina & her band rock it hard! If I were to pick her to duet this with, well.. it would be Whitney Houston... (rest in peace Whitney you could have rocked this cover so fine too )
@@bryandev7653 I had been listening to FREE's original version, it's great, that's how I found this version, it's a good cover, Christiana does a great job.
Old man: "is that Madonna?" His daughter:"no, That's Christina Aguilera" Old man:"ah. I see. Well. She's much better. Can't compare, actually". "Yes,dad" .
"I thought Christina Aguilera's 'All Right Now' was a rocking version, I have to say. It's always nice when people cover your songs, it's a great compliment." - Paul Rodgers www.rttnews.com/1657277/paul-rodgers-likes-christina-aguilera-and-nelson-mandela-but-not-riots.aspx
If I don't compare her to the original singer (who has a unique voice such as Brian Johnson and Axl Rose) it is a damn awesome cover, and it is awesome that she appreciates great music.
There she stood in the street Smiling from her head to her feet I said hey, what is this Now baby, maybe she's in need of a kiss I said hey, what's your name baby Maybe we can see things the same Now don't you wait or hesitate Let's move before they raise the parking rate All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now I took her home to my place Watching every move on her face She said look, what's your game baby Are you tryin' to put me in shame I said slow don't go so fast Don't you think that love can last She said love, Lord above Now you're tryin' to trick me in love All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now
Hmm interesting cover however these people seem to be missing the point of the song , FREE the band who wrote the song are not easy covered and those who try realy need to get with the program and keep it real
Absolutely slayed this cover. Her singing feels somewhere between being slapped senseless and f-------ed silly. Her look is uber sexy and that guitarist slayed, slayed, slayed his solo.
@ELITEHEELS I grew up to the original. I think she did this well and I don't usually like this chick, lol. Best video she's done and I think she nailed it. Go back and listen to the original, lol. Sparkomatic stereos, power boosters and Jensen speakers in a home-made speaker box, lol. This is good :) Celine destroyed Shook Me, I'll agree with ya on that. It was embarassing to watch. Glad I never saw her do it live. Even Brian laughed at it.
I don't think so. While I like the original better (and learned how to play it) this is clearly a modernized version for a younger and more general audience. There are no rules. I like it.
Christina's voice rocks this song song...To bad the rhythm section sucks...especially the guitar...no groove, way to distorted (which kills the groove)
I love this performance.. its so entertaining.. it was so funny when she tried to grab that girls hand then had to pull away bc she needed to be on the mic.. i could listen and watch this for hours on end!! shes so fuckin cool!! her music now is boring but this shit still rocks!
👍AXL ROSE said "Christina is the best female vox today". link below Carrie Underwood wood rockin Paradise City! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XWK_FR0umww.html (link below)
@joerod0 Didi you notice that they played a mixture of guitar riffs between all right now and keep on a rockin me baby of Steve Miller which did rather take the rock grove out of the sing...but good vocal performance for Christine all the same!
Terrific rendition even if nothing can ever touch the original..the only reservation I have is the emphasis of the third harmony by the backing singers in the chorus which I felt did not do service to the melody...but well done Christina:)
Of course she can belt a rock song -- she's from stage school and can "do" any style. But it fails because of the band's wall of sound which totally loses the economical funk of Free
@chfanx I guess, he was supposed to judge her song, not her ass ... I never knew I would disagree with Paul Rodgers on a musical topic some day - but here we are/grin!
@redlexstudios nope Rafael is the best. there isnt anything better than him. look up rockstar supernova. he kicks ass. pub bands are just no talent ppl.
