As always. I remember seeing her many years ago on Late Night at the Apollo. She was just a kid then and her voice slayed me. Of all the talent of that time period, she was the one I knew would stand the test of time. It wasn’t until Pink that I found another such talent. Their vocal abilities alone gave me hope for music that had fallen to the wayside during those years.Too much gimmick & not enough talent and they were the exceptions.
I thought that the "it makes my cherry pop" thing was about a girl with cherry chapstick on popping her lips lol. Now i realise its different... Whoops
I first heard this in 2007 when I had just joined my college classes. A boy in our class explained some parts of this song to me. According to him, "makes my cherry pop" means "make me lose my virginity". Was he right? Please someone tell me.
