Xtina has been expressing her sexuality since the start of her career, not to stay relevant. She's always been a free woman like that. We got Dirrty, we got Not Myself Tonight, now we have Accelerate. She has many sexual songs and that doesn't make her any less of an artist, she's not less talented because she chooses to be sexy. It feels more like you as a woman is constrained by the current society while Christina always wants to break mould. Christina has been flaunting her sexuality for years while empowering people at the same time. Why is this even an issue to you? The two are not mutually exclusive. Being able to use the male gaze to your advantage is power. It may not be the power you want, but it is power nonetheless. You take what you can. You do what you have to. The world ain't perfect. The practice of women being objectified and only used/seen for sex for so many years was used specifically for the benefit of men. Women didn’t have a choice. However, women are now taking back their CHOICE and their VOICE to express their sexuality however they choose to. It’s empowering for women to feel sexy on their own. She's just comfortable in her own skin, and can't a woman have fun in HER OWN music? That's what Accelerate is. It's about sex. About a WOMAN wanting sex. It's not just MEN love sex. WOMEN also love sex. It's a fun song, the beat is dope, you can see her other dimensions, not just Xtina belting out every freakin second. Stop being judgemental. She's an ARTIST and her art and music don't define who she is as a human being. Also, Xtina has always been diverse. I think there's a difference between being sexualized by men, as many young women in the music industry are, and having the agency to show yourself however you want. Ever since Stripped, Xtina has been in full control of her sexuality. She PUSHED for Dirrty to be released as the lead single (her record label wanted Infatuation), and she pushed for Not Myself Tonight to be released as well. She's in control of her sexuality. It's all about agency, and whether you're forced to do something vs. doing it because you want to.

Accelerate is amazing and different from everything out that is why it is so awesome. Fall in line is one of my favorites too. We flew and saw her live October 2018 was epic. I cannot wait for her 2018 New Years performance it is going to be amazing. 2019 here comes Xtina!
