+Enchanted Justin can Mariah hit those high notes in falsetto? Nope. Can Christina hit whistle notes like Mariah? Nope. so both are unique and talented so don't need to be hated on either way
+Enchanted Justin dude i know she uses falsetto alot, i never heard her go to an A6 or G6 or c#7 in falsetto register. And yes i love Mariah Carey and almost all her songs and always believe that she is much. morre better than Christina in all aspects except falsetto, so they both are good in their own way
I love how Florence Welch reacts she holds her hand for the build up and at the vocal climax she just puts her head down in awe. Jennifer and Yolanda seem to respect her Martina is the only one she looks like shes trying to stand her ground or seems kind of offended.
What in the world is good technique? Who approves what's good and what isn't? How many singers with good technique are considered unique and legends. From what I heard only opera singers have good techniques. As long as it sounds good, that's all that really matters to me. And Christina sounds amazing!

Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Adele, todas ellas son cantantes excelentes, tienen un registro vocal increíble. Pero Christina Aguilera (Xtina) siempre ha sido La voz de la generación. No se puede establecer un parametro de comparación, simplemente es La Voz!

Absolutely not whistle register. Whistle register is a specific position you sing from. Xtina was using her falsetto or head voice (never can really tell with her) Whistles sound totally different than this
In the end she's like.. "Ok, it's done.. what's next?" xDD She's AMAZING!!!!! And she simply does her higher notes like if she was just breathing,,, *-*
Ah y es verdad Xtina no tiene un rango vocal tan amplio como otras cantantes; ella Mezzosoprano, pero por coloratura es Soprano. Además tiene grandes técnicas vocales, que las sabe utilizar a la perfección, llegando a notas increíbles. Sino escucha la canción Soar de su disco Stripped al minuto 3:20, y vas a escuchar que tiene un registro de Silbido (registro vocal mas agudo). Por todo ésto y mucho mas Christina Aguilera es la Voz de la Generación!!!
I might be wrong but that kind of sounded like a Eb6...but it may be a E6. But what is amazing is that when Aretha was yet older than Christina...she could sing a D6 (just a note lower than this) in FULL VOICE...Now that's the QUEEN!!!!!

People talk about technique to much. Christina has never been a technical singer. All the technical this and that and judgment is usually why most artist loose touch with singing. Toni Braxton for example. Just shut up and enjoy the show. She sings because she loves it. Not to impress broke back wanna be ain't going no place haters.

Actually no, it's not a whistle. It is a falsetto. Some musicians and teachers say that women can't do a falsetto technically so they call notes like this a "flute tone". A whistle note is sang differently than a falsetto (through vocal folds and head). However, this eb6 falsetto is FLAWLESS and Christina just upstaged everyone on stage.
@PetaLouiza88 Well... i understand ur point of view but as u can see/hear shes different... its what sets her apart... I dont think she has a bad technique cus her style is more like Ettas's... they really feel what they sing... thats what i luv about them + the notes she can hit...

@Marcusrafaelfet I personally think she is. In my opinion you can find her voice in any church choir girl (I'm specifically talking about black choir groups). That's why to me its not like whoa....
