You do realize that these interviews are all rehearsed and planned out right? There’s nothing really sincere about any of this. This is acting. It’s marketing.
Like most teenagers in 1992, I was in love Christina! She seems a little out of her comfort zone in a lot of these old talk show interviews which is surprising because she had such a strong stage presence on MWC, but I guess she had great onset chemistry with the cast and producers that she kind of owned it!
She was always sensitive and kinda shy when she was younger. Her mom was fighting cancer. She wasn't comfortable with the tiny skirts Kelly always wore and how dumb her character became. Dont think she liked all the male attention and being a sex symbol either. Also, she was a dramatic actress who wanted to be taken seriously. Met her briefly at a MWC taping in 1989 and she was friendly.
@@raveballs Too bad her manager at the time didn't advise to leave the show when it was evident that Kelly's role was solely eyecandy and FOX conceived her as the "ultimate teen bimbo" (besides the fact the network "sabotaged" the movie Streets). She could've had a chance to be in Ghost (if CA auditioned for the role of Molly Jensen), Cape Fear, Jurassic Park, etc. CA wouldn't need to build her career based solely on her looks, like it happened IRL and got the needed boost with Anchorman
@@sebastianschmidt25 Yeah he did that all the time, he lacked much respect to anyone. Rodney Dangerfield, who was one of the most reoccurring guests in Johnny Carson's entire Tonight Show history, only did his show once because he acted like a jerk to him and also to his son who had been an intern on Letterman's show.
She has always been just so damn cute in addition to being so damn hot, even today at 50+. Very sad that she has MS, she doesn't deserve anything like that. :( I wish her only the best.
Omg he can't stopped himself from constantly cutting her off mid sentence. It's extremely annoying to watch, couldn't imagine how annoyed she was, she definitely shows it.
Thought she was the hottest actress as a kid still thinks it at 29 my god something about her that just made her stand out mwc always had models even pam Anderson and idk for some reason she just out glowed them
Dave's such a creep, he couldn't let her go when they embraced. At least he didn't put her hair in his mouth like he did to Jennifer Aniston. Kudos to Christina for making it through the interview.
He’s always been a creepo. He would be cancelled ASAP today if he were still on. He’s trying to pass off this whole “changed and improved” act these days just to fit in the Netflix landscape.. but it’s bogus!! Years and decades of inappropriate and outright disgusting behavior show otherwise. People like that don’t change or grow. It’s not about opinions or thoughts so much as it is how to conduct yourself and treat another human being, especially guests!!
So... Across the Moon was filmed in 1992 (yes, the working title was Tehachapi), but somehow was released in 1995. Same case with Vibrations, Nowhere and View from the Top
she is so pretty and so smart but dave doesnt let people be ,,,he almost mocks people and if a serious tone was ever to be taken ,he didn;t...i never watched him but christina is so pretty and talented and what a dancer @@@@@see snl 2012 jillian chiz sketch,,
@@brienfoaboutanything9037 thx, but I can't stand those computer-generated voices reading me things that I can just go on wikipedia to read for myself.
It was brand new. It was kind of like an expansion team in sports. They had Married with Children and the Simpsons, as mentioned, but they also had 21 Jump Street where Johnny Depp got his start. Back there were running jokes that they couldn't compete with the big three networks. For a long time it was true.
Yeah! She’s quite hairy, I never noticed that while watching MWC before, must be because of the video quality back then. She got rid of those, but I love that she doesn’t get rid of her body hair lol!
Never understood why Letterman was so revered. All his unfunny snarky comments and dumb chuckles that he interrupts his guests with I've always found more irritating than anything else. What's with this pedestal that people (particularly New Yorkers) put him on? " Tehachapi. Ha ha. ha. Why not? Yeesh." Shit like that always bugged. Even Christina was like, uh...ok, whatever dude.
@@choonblaze I know. If it's truly something funny I'm all for interjecting into the conversation here and there. But Letterman would always say something (like here) in that snarky way of his that would imply a possible double entendre or coded meaning. But, really, there would be nothing there. And people would seem to just LOVE it. Irritating. From the big 4 of the past, Carson was king. Conan would be second 'cause he could play along with/play off of the guest well. Leno and Letterman can battle it out for 3rd & 4th. Ok, that's my take. I know u were dying to know. See ya!👍
