I don’t believe he had bad intentions - just not a smart thing to do. He should have said - that’s a good question for your parents to answer.

Absolutely not. It was very important she knew. My father's who raised me explained it to me before kindergarten in case I was ever bullied because of thier relationship. Glad they did.

So much can happen and you wouldn't even know it. My father's did not want me bullied. If they don't know what it is..any pervert could say it's okay and proceed to molest. I don't give two cents about what you do to your child. But, I'll say it helped my daughter as someone did try to take advantage of her at a very young age. She said STOP followed by screams as I instructed her to do. We have 10 year old getting pregnant these days. Your problem what you teach your kid(s). You didn't catch it or you would not have thought it strange my father's telling me. Who else would have told me? LOL. You're slow and feeble minded considering the times we live in. If she asked for help to understand he did the right thing. She already knew about sex. When I was maybe six or seven my father took me to visit family friends that I had never been to their lake house. A big beautiful wooden lake house and they said these two women they live together they love each other like husband and wife would and I just nodded and said "that's cool, can I go play with the cat?" because they had this really great cat that kept running around the house and running away from me. Children are simple, if you don't force religion and morays down their throat they understand the basics. *And even if someone is going to be offended I'm going to say so here.. love is love.*

Some schools start teaching sexual education that early. I knew what it was by age 11, a.k.a. 7th grade in my country of Canada. Edit - it might be even earlier in the United States. I don't know.

WOW! At least everybody knows Johnny is straight, good to know he has old fashioned moral values. In this day and age there are too many people who like to mix them up, (their sexuality,) On a personal note am straight up, only attracted to the opposite sex, (a man's, man kind of man,) yet, must confess have been living in celibacy too many years to count. In Genesis, the beginning of the Holy Bible, God created a man, named Adam, and a woman named, Eve, right? God meant since the beginning, for a man and woman to be together,not a man and a man or a woman and a woman, together, correct? Although, today it is very difficult to be able to tell if a transvestite as a woman is really a man. Cindi and Lloyd what you're forgetting is that she was a young child back then. You're both thinking of her as the 42 year old woman that she is today. Basically Johnny is defining homosexual people as sex obsessed (and some are) and that gives them potentially the stereotypical representation as sexual deviants. I bet if he was talking about heterosexual people he would have not just mentioned sex and would actually talk about love. Her reason for asking is completely irrelevant to him (an *ADULT* man in his mid twenties) answering, he should’ve just told her it’s something she should ask her parents. It’s completely inappropriate of him to be talking to a *NINE YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL* about sex. Things like that were not okay back then. He was dating Winona when she was 15/16 and he was around 25, it’s was huge scandalous even more than when Kylie Jenner was a minor dating Travis Scott.
