I've never in all my 20 years of life watched and listened to something that makes me want to get up, forget about the haters and dance... but right here right now, lying on my bed with 50 chins watching the screen, it is all I want to do!
her voice is hauntingly beautiful just a stunning tone its captivates and takes you away on a journey with jer that singers seldom achieve just amazing
It's an amazing song, loved it on first listen. I'm generally indifferent to dance routines, but this just connects somehow. I keep coming back to it to try and work out why, and I still can't, but it's still wonderful.
fantastic - superb song - awesome choreography - not this over powered, crumpy face stuff you often see on stage - cool, relaxed, unique and funny - perfect dancers - go Christine - more like this :D
Every now and then you hear songs/music which grabs you from the first tone, pulls you in with each beat and fuses with your soul by the end. First one I remember was Wuthering heights by Kate Bush when I heard it on the radio a long long time ago. This is one of those. I saw this when it was originally broadcast. I was utterly fascinated by the song itself, and the performance to boot? Wow. Instant fan.
Glad this is the video from the 1/2 hour Thurs Night episode of Jools Holland, with the tribute at the end, it was cut from the full show on the Sat night. Still enjoy watching it
Actually she opened his shows during a long time in France : they like each other very much ;-) With the singer Jain, they're like a trio of half-gods (ps: i'm french)
The original version was called "Cripple". It kinda didn't work at all. But new lyrics - new production - and presto - a hit ! Original chorus "I actually do enjoy being a cripple ♬ ♪ ♩". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
