@ideasboutique taking from the family pot was Kody's term. It was actually taken from the equity of the sale of Janelle and Meri's homes. What they should have done was took their equity and bought a house like Kristine did and put it in their name's only, like she did, so when they decided to sell them, Kody couldn't touch the money. Instead of giving the money to purchase Robin a mansion. Kristine was smart. She may not have CP, but she made a clean break with her money from her house.

@@pearlbubbles6885 For fairness, Kody and Robyn need to give up Coyote Pass. They have the big house and two additional acres in their names. They used family money that was put in the pot by Meri and Janelle. K&R can reap the profit from that, if there is any left after the sale. Meri and Robyn should be given the CP land to split equally after selling the land. Neither of them want the land but they could sure put the money to good use. The land seems to have a lot of restrictions on it. Perhaps, they can have those restrictions lifted, perhaps not, but they could try. Kody owes those two ladies for all they have contributed and for what K&R have taken out of the pot for personal use. Unfortunately, it seems that K&R legally have more standing, but if they took it to court there is plenty of evidence on the show that could sway things to move in favor of M&J. Who knows. I would hope Kody would be fair, but he hasn’t shown that thus far. He appears to be a user and a thief, honestly! What do I know, it is just the fair thing for them to do in mu opinion.

I noticed 2 things about Garrison's home. There's a little cat door at the bottom of one of the bedroom doors that is so sweet, and the fence doesn't have graffiti, it has murals. There are penguins painted along the top of one of the panels, a sunburst, flowers, a landscape (looks like desert view), etc. I wish I knew who had painted it, because it's very good.

To this day, his name still appears before mine on every legal document, as well as on the title of my car, which I purchased without him being physically present and with my own money. Women still must be vigilant and assure that, in matters of financial and other legal records, they don’t default to the husband’s assumed superiority.

I consider Christine’s jobs as child carer, homeschooler and cook to be equally valuable as Janelle’s take home pay. Meri and Kody barely made money.

Yep! My narcissistic ex-husband was notoriously stingy with money. Moved into my home, didn't once help with the mortgage/utilities despite him making almost double what I did. Christine herself has been defrauded by Cody and Robyn, so she expects the same for Janelle and Mary. When Christine left, she only got what was left from the sale of her house that she alone was making payments on. It's doubtful she got a percentage of the family pot that she contributed to for 14 years. Janelle and Mary will likely not get a cut either. Robyn not only has her 1.6 million house but a large chunk of CP and full access to the pot. In the end, she'll come out of this with at least 42%, Cody at 42%, and 5% each to the OG3. It's foolish, frustrating, and sad, they didn't bring in a lawyer. When Cody married Robyn they should have set up a pre nup, because when Robyn divorces Cody she'll walk away with nearly everything the OG3 worked for.

That art work in their home is not worth what they paid. And someone needs to teach Robyn how to decorate. Cramming “artwork” onto every bit of wall space is not attractive. Less is more is a real thing. Kody thinking that he could hide money from his wives in “artwork”, is a joke. I don’t believe he’ll ever get his money out of any of that stuff. I'd guess it's a huge possibility that Janelle and Meri had to sign papers for Kody's mortgage company saying that money was a gift. I forget what those documents are called. It's doubtful that K and R would have been approved for the loan if the mortgage company thought they owed 300 to 400k to Janelle and Meri. I wish they could get their money back but I seriously doubt R or K have any intention of paying them. I think k and R already borrowed all the equity in their home. If it sells there probably will be very little to nothing left after paying the mortgage(s). Kody and Robyn are nothing but users, they only care about money! Poor Janelle she has spent so much on k and r. She had to pay off Robyn's 34k debt when Robyn first arrived. I was hoping Janelle would have refused to pay it.

I was watching early seasons and in them Robyn came into the family with the promise of working and bringing in a income ,but kept coming up with excuses like im "new to area" etc. I would not trust Robyn she is lazy and a gold digger of sorts. If you remember correctly, they cannot build a home to live in permanently on that property. It is made only for vacation homes so worrying about Janelle or anybody else building and living there. It’s out of the question their own state laws.

Kody & Robyn have always used the family pot of money to support their shopping addiction. If the family pot of money was used to purchase Coyote Pass or any property ie Robyn's house & belongings, then all the property should be sold & each person get an equal portion of the proceeds. Kody has always said the money was his money!

I don't care 2 cents what happens to K&R. Maybe they need to lose everything in their lives to see how unfair and unjust their actions have been.

Janelle is entitled to the money that she makes from the sale of Garrisons property. Since there is a will it is doubtful that Kody could get any of this money.

While I was active duty I had both of my parents as 50/50 beneficiaries if I died. I had a falling out with my dad, and went in and changed my will, and life insurance to have my mom as my sole beneficiary. It takes a quick stop by the Legal Office on a Military post to update a Will, but life insurance can be done on line instantly. I can’t imagine that Garrison didn’t make sure his mom was the only beneficiary in the two years he and his dad weren’t speaking.

@@marietate1915 - If you're talking about the sale of Garrison's house and his passing; his Will would have to name Janelle as sole beneficiary. That is the only way Kody gets nothing from Garrison's estate.

@marietate1915 Garrison being in the NG, he probably had a Will. This is done in boot camp. Served from 92-97, USN. My Dad was in WW II, so I got mine done before leaving for boot camp. Helps when you have a parent who served.

I sure hope Garrison had a will. It is entirely possible that Kody could claim part of this inheritance. It's sad but anyone including Kody can make a claim during the probate period. Kody can claim he gave Garrison money for the downpayment then had a falling out. Lies, I know, but it's Kody we're talking about here.

This is a tangled mess. They should have the property appraised, give the “king” half, divide the rest by 4 and give it to the wives. Since Christine gave up her part then give equal shares to the other wives. I have no idea how much Robyn has given financially to the family since it appears that she’s been spending money like is going out of style. Hopefully Garrison left his place to Janelle. Kody and Robyn are very greedy so they will try to take everything they can.

I think Kody will indeed rip these ladies off. The sad thing is with his name being on all the lots, the law will allow him his portion of each lot. Both Meri and Janelle will lose out but I think mostly Meri. Sad thing is Robyn will get the chunk of the property with Kody and she's contributed absolutely nothing to the family finances. Pitiful!

It's strange what will trigger emotion. For me, seeing the cat door in the bedroom door, and having seen pictures of Garrison with his cats, made me tear up, for the loss of this young life. Though I obviously have no relationship with the Browns, I can feel for Janelle and all of the family in their grief.

I feel so bad for Janelle having to sell Garrison's house, it has to be so heartbreaking, because not only was Garrison so proud of making that purchase, she was so proud of him for accomplishing it! Yes, worth a great deal, judging the size in context to items in the picture we saw. It's an incredibly high value piece, with the deep purple crystals highly sprinkled throughout. Wonderful!
