Really interesting! I had heard of panettone before ( I am American, 3 out of my 4 grandparent are from Italy) but I didn’t realize how important it was for Christmas in Italy. Thanks for the videos!

I am 60 years old and I have had Pannetone for the Christmas season since I was 2 years old. My mom was born in a little town called Tusio in Italy --- This is one of my favorite Christmas treats. I always get the original as it's the one I grew up on in New York. We used to eat it at breakfast with cafe.... do Italians eat it for breakfast in Italy these days?
It's so nice to hear this, food can be such a beautiful way to recall our memories and traditions that go back years 🧸 We do eat it for breakfast too! My dad for instance, he's not a breakfast lover at all.. but during the Christmas season, he always has a slice of panettone with coffee or tea!
