Nothing says festive season like Smiler, Hex, River rapids and gangster granny all broken, as well as half the park temporarily being closed and Thirteen can’t run in rain. Truly magical! Yet you’re still running the tickets up to capacity despite knowing the queue lines will be ridiculous for non fast track holders? Hmmmm very festive, indeed...
The Smiler and Rapids are not open because most of the park is closed off - this event is only in Towers Street, CBeebies, Fountain Square and the World Of David Walliams. Hex is open as is Gansta Granny. No reason to think that everything else that was closed at the end of last season won't be open at the start of next season
@@stevebrown1974 no the smiler has been closed for more than 2 months now I went for scare fest this year and smiler was still closed and thirteen was closed for half the day, and the queues were so bad they actually started giving people refunds including myself All rides listed were closed during the most popular week of the year and due that the queues for other rides were all above 1 hours and some even reached 3 hours
@@maddox471 Of course The Smiler has been closed for more than 2 months now, we're a month into the closed season! You can't count the closed season months!! The entire park is now closed until the new season in March other than for the Christmas event advertised here - as I mentioned originally, that is only taking place in 3 main areas - X Sector isn't one of them so The Smiler isn't open. The closure of it in October was unfortunate and was out of Towers' hands - obviously not confirmed but rumour was they were waiting for a part to be delivered from Germany. And of course back in October we had Brexit customs and delivery lead time issues - both here and in Europe. A perfectly legitimate reason for the ride to be closed for so long. There is no way they'd want to keep one of their headline rides closed through probably the busiest time of the season any more than we want to see it closed. Thi13teen's issues were weather related and you were probably unlucky to visit on a day when it was bad. I visited in Scarefest and got on it fine. I'd be very surprised if whatever caused the issue isn't resolved by the beginning of next season.
