Merry Sunday Ramon! I just finished my fall decorating, so I'm ready to jump into Christmas. You fill my head with so many ideas I can't wait to get started. I am 70 years old and live alone, so when I decorate it's just for my enjoyment. My holiday theme is always flowing things stuck in my tree, feather balla, red berries, birds. Flowers. No bulbs at all, except for tiny ones that were my mom and dads, who are now deceased. Memories for me at Christmas time. It was their favorite holiday.

I LOVE YOUR WORK. LIKE YOU, I'VE HAD THIS GOD GIVEN TALANT OF PLAYING GUITAR, PIANO, DRUMS, KEYBOARDS ETC. ALSO I'VE ALWAYS HAD THE TALENT OF MAKING THINGS. SO I STARTED MAKING WREATHS. OMG, THE FIRST ONE WAS BEAUTIFUL ON THE DOOR, BUT, THE BACK, WAS A HOT MESS. LOL. I STARTED WATCHING THESE VEDIOS, SO FROM THERE, I CAN MAKE ANY TYPE WREATH OR DOOR SWAGG, LARGE BEAUTIFUL ANGELS, THAT I WOULD SEND TO MIAMI HOSPITAL TO MY GRANDSON, HE WOULD KEEP THEM A WHILE, THEN WOULD GIVE THEM TO ANOTHER CHILD THAT WAS DIEING, LIKE HIM. SO WHEN I WENT DOWN TO STAY WITH HIM FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS , THERE WERE MY ANGELS , in DIFFERENT ROOMS OF THESE PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGELS. I WAS SO HAPPY TO DO THIS FOR THE CHILDREN. MY LITTLE GRANDSON WENT TO BE WITH JESUS AT 7. YEARS OLD. MY ANGELS WERE PASSED ON AND I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR HOW MUCH THE PARANTS GOT SOME COMFORT FROM THEM. I HAVE KEPT CRAFTING SINCE, AND THAT HAS BEEN 19 YEARS AGO. I LOVE YOUR WORK AND ENJOY WATCHING, HOW YOU DECOATE. I'VE BEEN GIVING MY WORK AWAY TO MY SPECIAL PEOPLE. I love the peacock colors. I'm doing one of my trees in cobalt blue, bright gold, a berry burgundy color. I mixed paints to create the color myself because I couldn't find what I wanted. It's a medium burgundy purplish shade. Not a deep wine burgundy. I also had to create my own teal color because I wanted a blackish dark green teal color, not the blue turquoise teal color that I always see on the peacock trees. I'm doing those colors with a more religious theme instead of a peacock theme. I'm using the purplish burgundy to represent the Scarlotte purple robe of Jesus.

I think the lantern would be really cute to have some of the same colored ornaments in the bottom of it that you used on the garland! Loved the swag especially!!

I noticed one of your loops was a little wrinkled. You can iron it while still on the swag using a curling iron. I’ve been using this method to refresh bows I’ve stored way. No taking bows apart to iron. Yippee!

I like the first Mantel one but I don’t seem to be able to open my mind to the pink I love the door swag I think the lateen is my favorite. Because of your talent and I have been searching lateen diys. Thank you Ramon for sharing talent your wisdom and where you get things. I recently visited the wreath shop. I think in past videos you suggested. I love the different ribbons and it’s affordable for me. Thank you thank you God bless you

Instead of wire, I use green pipe cleaners. The soft bristles keep your fingers from hurting and they are easy to remove and save to reuse over and over.

I enjoy when you talk throughout the videos! Your stories help us get to know you. The explanations make it fool proof so we feel like we can do it ourselves.. You usually end up answering a question that I have, and it inspires me. So please talk talk talk! ❤️ I also like the tip about velvet bows. I'm going to purchase some for this year! My theme this year is Winter Wonderland. I'm using all white, silver, gold, crystal and light metallics. The entire first floor will not have a bit of red. The basement will be decorated on regular Christmas colors, including red. I literally cannot wait to get started!!

Ramon you are such an inspiration to all of us! I found your videos about 2 years ago and have copied so many of them. I've always had a flair for decorating and flower arrangement. I made your ornament garland last year and sending you a picture. My tree has all old glass ornaments from my mom and places I've traveled and christopher radko; however I used your ideas of using a variety of red and gold plastic ornaments of all sizes.
