I was just at the Biltmore for my Birthday a gift from my daughter, IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! Every room was decorated beautiful!!!

I was there in Dec. 2018.. Toured the grounds outside. It had just snowed was so beautiful.

I went on the tour a couple of months ago. It is well worth the price, the tour goes on forever. Then there are the grounds to explore. It will take you all day, wear comfortable shoes. Surprisingly enough, it is a homey place. I could see living there. It is not cold or too formal. What got me were the original cards in the guest rooms that had the person's name on it, sitting there for probably 80 years. I looked up the name, and it was an Italian aristocrat who married one of the daughters, he had money too.

He had only 1 daughter, Cornelia who married but divorced a British man named Cecil. The Cecils still live in the area and own the house. I think she did marry again but I don't remember who. Lady On the Hill is a great book to read on the estate.

My family went on your in 1996. We purchased some of the Biltmore Wines that were very tasty. Also, some ornaments as well. They were very reasonable back then. . We went into the plant observatory. We took pictures. Have them today, I love plants of any kind.

Yes it's pretty and al, l but you price gouge so much that regular folks cannot afford to see it.

I just went today. Bought one ticket online. I was not price gouged. The tour was well worth the price of the ticket considering I was given a ride on the shuttle bus from the parking lot. Oh and I am a "regular folk". An hourly worker.

The Biltmore is private property that home is suppose to be left untouched by rapists

Untouched by rapist???? what are you talking about? Much of the house is exactly like it was during George Vanderbilts time. The tours are given so they can afford the upkeep and maintenance plus pay the staff....etc....etc
