I’ve never thought of this Christmas tour as a sales pitch. I believe that the great majority of us look forward to it every year. So if you get any negative Nancy’s, please know that there are so many of us that thoroughly enjoy seeing the awesome array of “pretties” to make the holidays special. If I could, I’d leave my tree up all year long! Love your channel and especially love your entire family! ⛄️❄️⛄️
Hey Anne Carrington, do you think Negative Nancy is the real Garden Nancy ? Ha! That post from last week stuck in my mind. Now whenever I hear the name Nancy, I crack up. Hehehe. Merry Christmas to you!
well said!! ditto. I love her vibes and her sharing it's such a blessing with all the terrible things happening in the world, I live in Chesapeake VA, so it hasn't been easy this year. This channel takes me away from all of that. Happy New Year 2023💗🙏🪴🪴🪴🪴🌲🌲🌲🌲
I rewatch her holiday tours every year for decorating inspiration and to get into the Christmas spirit. I’ve never once thought of this as a sales pitch. There are people in this world who can turn almost anything negative. Bah humbug to them😂
The gingerbread houses you and your talented family created still look amazing! They are so charming and all from cardboard and bits and pieces. Watching you make them was one of my favourite episodes. So happy to see them again.
My husband as as you said you were not sure why you were drawn to the pointed bulbs, he goes, it looks like a flower bulb. So funny. He watches with me every morning. Glad he likes watching too .We love you too for all you share, Thanks for giving. You and you family have a Happy Thanksgiving 😊
Yes Aaron, you kept the camera pointed at the Christmas stuff instead of focusing just on Laura as she was speaking. Looking at Laura is wonderful but we get to see her all the time. But looking at the Christmas displays is a 'once a year' treat.
There are 858 comments already but I will add that at the end of the video, you put a huge smile on my face as you mentioned your parents were in the back watching the kids, and you and Aaron joining them. These are the days you will always remember…. What an amazing family you have and the fact you KNOW your blessings makes it even the more enjoyable to watch. Thanks for opening your lives for us to be a small part of!
Absolutely amazing Christmas tour! The ribbon on the tree that you decorated is fabulous! I wish I lived closer to visit your family’s garden center. All the trees were stunning! The ginger bread houses are beautiful and festive! What a treasured memory for your blessed family!
Aww, you know Laura's had a VERY long day when she calls a Flamingo a Peacock... 😉 (Beautifully done!) Bravo Aaron for shooting a tough subject so quickly without making us woozy. Happy Thanksgiving to the entire staff and Laura and Aaron's family. 🥂
The little kid joy in Laura’s very soul is worth the trip through Andrews’ Christmas Fantasy Land! And what a wonderful trip it is! I just may have to watch it again. And again. Thank you for taking us along!
I always watch these several times over as I love it so much! Oh how I wish I could shop there! I would like to wish Laura, Aaron, Benjamin, Samantha Grace, Monica and her family and both sets of parents and extended family a very Happy Thanksgiving 🦃from Canada! Oh can’t forget Russel and the elusive Chedder! This channel and your family are such a joy and inspiration !! 🎄🇨🇦🎄🇨🇦 I forgot to mention how great it was to see the gingerbread houses again...love them !❤️
My favorite part of this video was Laura’s reaction to things she had not seen. It’s like she is one of us discovering all the beautiful things at Andrews. So glad the Gingerbread village made it into the video. This video has been a great tradition for me each year also. Someday (next year) I will enjoy it in person. My bucket list trip.
Laura I don’t know if you and your family realize how important you are to all of us but your videos are one of the highlights of our day. It has actually made my bucket list to come in the store and just shop my heart out. The Christmas tour is one of my favorites every year. I’ve been watching y’all so many years and have learned so much from the videos you post and I love being able to go back and watch them again. I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. You guys are family to most of us and we always look forward to seeing y’all.
I've been decorating homes and businesses for years for holidays. I would just die to decorate the whole store! . It's beautiful and magical with the birds chirping and the water fountains trickling. Thank you Laura!
I have learned that being a gardener is not just about planting and maintaining gardens. One also has to have a knack or eye for design to make everything feel comfortable and welcoming! Great job everyone! ❤🇨🇦🌲
I love your enthusiasm during the tour, and rightly so! What a beautiful way to start the Christmas season. Everyone did such a fantastic job in setting up. And kudos to Aaron on the filming of the tour. I know it’s difficult to keep moving at such a steady pace.
You’ve never seen a cardinal? It never occurred to me that they weren’t everywhere, they’re common, but still special here in Indiana. Thanks for the tour, it’s fun so see the beautiful spaces the team creates!
I live on the coast in northern California and we don't have cardinals. They don't live along the western region. The first time I saw one was when I went to Maryland. They were beautiful. Of course, we have some stunning birds as well. But, I'd love to see cardinals regularly.
We have cardinals here in BC. I'm on the south end of Vancouver Island, near Victoria. Cardinals are not here year round. We also have bluejays and several species of hummingbirds. Those are here year round and having a little heater for their sugar water food is a thing in winter.
Thank you for touring Andrew’s Seed! It really gets you in the mood to start decorating for Christmas. You reminded me that getting to watch Cardinals at the feeder is a blessing and I hope you get to see them one day soon.
🎄GREETINGS🎄from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 I love how you walk us through, Laura and Aaron, and you are shopping for yourself the whole time. 🎅🤶 I would love to visit Andrew's if I wasn't 3500 miles away 😁 I hope your parents have their best season 🎄$🎄 Happy Thanksgiving to all of Our Garden Answer Family of Friends 🥧🦃🥧
The tall thin house you admired in the shop could have a tall nutcracker man placed inside the house and pinecone strewn at the bottom and you could stand it next to your fireplace and that would make it a Christmas decoration. When Christmas is over small kindling could be kept in the thin house ready for a fire at any time. Just love your channel.
This was an amazing window shopping tour, thank you 💖 will you be doing the decorations for your church this year? Indoors like you did a couple of years ago? Merry Christmas everyone ❤
It’s early and I’m sitting here with the glow of our Christmas tree, watching and thinking how lovely the garden center looks. I love the family vibe Andrews always conveys.⭐️🎄⭐️
I've only just found you on RU-vid!!!!! Wow. I think I have found my latest obsession!!!! Your enthusiasm is catching. Wish that was my local garden centre! Here in the UK, garden centres are mostly owned by chains and are all the same. Fabulous. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving one & all! Here in Michigan, we have multitudes of cardinals visiting the bird feeders daily. A most welcome pop of color during the winter days - Laura, perhaps you'll see them the next time you're on Mac Island!! Wonderful tour - thank you!
@@lindabenford7134 Yep, she's mentioned it before several times over the years - LAURA, of all people, should definitely be able to see them in-person for real!! The females are also very beautiful with their bright red bills 😍
Your mom and others who order in for the garden center have such good taste ! I would have wanted to bring half of what you show home ! And everything is so lovely displayed !
One of my favorite videos each year, but I feel that way about all your videos. Thank you to your folks and all their crew who work so hard and make everything look so beautiful . Each of your videos bring so much joy to my life. I think you have created a huge extended family of all of us who watch. Hope your holidays are wonderful and thank you for sharing ❤️❄️🎄
I can't believe you've never seen a cardinal in real life! Come down to my place they are everywhere here. The displays are all so stunning!!! Everyone did such an amazing job!
Are cardinals an eastern US bird? I grew up with them in New Jersey, currently have them in Georgia, and believe I used to see them in Florida too. I'm going to have to research this.
The garden center is so beautiful and magical. It’s like being a kid in a candy store. I would be saying , “ I want that, and that , and I have to have that “😮😊❤.
Laura, when you're trying to describe the Scandinavian tree, the word Hygge would be perfect. I've heard it in many other videos. "Hygge is a word in Danish and Norwegian that describes a mood of coziness and 'comfortable conviviality' with feelings of wellness and contentment." I love your enthusiasm.
I LOVE these Christmas videos! I have just one suggestion for the garden center, could you please widen the paths in the store for handicap accessibility? I know it’s hard when there are so many exciting and beautiful things to fit into the space. But I’m sure it would mean a lot to many of your customers!
I so wish I lived near Andrews! What a beautiful store full of wonderful goodies! I would spend so much money on things that are so unique. How wonderful!🧑🎄🎅🎄🌟⛄️
Here’s one Canadian that’s ready to make a trip down especially for this - just wow!🤩 What amazing displays! So much hard work and a true love of Christmas shines through. Honestly so thankful that you share tours of your parent’s garden center. 🤗
Yes you would call those tinsel trees when I was a little girl my parents had a full size tinsel tree in silver with individual sleeves and then she would put a light on the bottom that change color because there were no lights on the tree very vintage very pretty trees also you don’t see them anymore!
These videos help the local economies! I just made plans to scoot out today to the garden center in my area that is most like Andrews. But I do have serious “Andrew’s envy”! Thanks Laura and Aaron. You’ve kick-started the season!
Laura, the pride that exudes when you speak of your family and the garden center is so heartwarming and emotional. It makes sense that you speak "as if you are still apart of the garden center" because your heart is full of the love, the beauty and the traditions that Andrew's is known for in your community. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of your life with all of us!♡ May continued blessings wash over you all♡
Loved....loved that the gingerbread houses are still "alive and well"...and they really make that part of the garden center (the pot area) real festive I f I lived near by I would come in to see you 'all BUT then quickly go back and see the gingerbread houses from last year's CHRISTmas display and definitely the nativity tree and. tables ..... .much love ...have a grand Thanksgiving...my husband turns 81 tomorrow (Wednesday the 23rd) and his BD usually lands in Thanksgiving.... thanking God we have 60, yes 60 years of marriage in the Lord this year also. I'm so blessed....having complete knee replacement this coming Monday the 28th so would be so blessed by your prayers...thanks again
Woah...I had to pause because it actually shocked me that you have never seen a cardinal in real life. I never realized they were a regional bird. Do you guys have Blue Jays or Orioles? I actually find that so fascinating that cardinals are not in Eastern Oregon. The more you know 🌈
I’m surprised that so many people love their cardinals but have no idea of their range. We don’t see orioles out west either. But we see Stellar’s jays and western blue birds. Anna’s hummingbirds are very common here. Enjoy your birds!😊
One of my favorite things that you do…tour the garden center…especially at Christmas!! It’s beautiful!! I know it’s hard work, but the outcome is AMAZING!!! Thank you for sharing!!
I’ve been waiting for this video for weeks ❤ Laura I have been rewatching ALL of your Christmas content since I ‘found’ you in 2019. You bring me so much joy and comfort. Thank you!
Andrew’s has such an awesome shop. I would be snapping up so many things. We don’t have any really nice garden centers here. Makes me want to fly there and shop!
I look forward to this tour every year! Your parents pick wonderful things to sell. I only wish I could be there for their open house! It sure does inspire me to get my Christmas decorating started!
I love that whole area with the cranes and the gingerbread house that lights up. That's just beautiful. I never knew Cardinals weren't out that way. I see them everyday in my bird feeders and they're stunning
I see cardinals every day here in North Carolina. Our official state bird! Laura, go visit Jenny and Jerry at Creekside Nursery. Bet you'd see a ton of cardinals at their place!
I don't know negative Nancy, but this Nancy LOVED the tour and wished NY was a lot closer so I could go shopping. I wish our garden centers were as nice as this!. Thank you so much for the tour and all of your videos. Merry Christmas!
Absolutely stunning !! Can we have yours parents garden Christmas light tour if they are fine with it.That tour will be awesome as their garden is in hill so we will be able to enjoy stunning gorgeous lighting layers
Even though a lot of ornaments have been sold it still looks amazing!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙 I have not been watching you very long but your videos are on the top of my list. Can't wait to see your videos!!! I must admit I wouldn't want to live in Idaho,.too cold but is now on my bucket list to come see ur shop!!! 💙💙💙💙💙
Andrews has such incredible items for holiday decorating. It would be nice if they carried a selection of Hanukkah decor for those who celebrate. 🕎 Of course, there are plenty of winter themed items. ❄️
I don't disagree with you, but remember they're a very small town in a more rural area. They're population is most likely primarily white and Christian. Being a small business, with limited space, they have to stock items that will actually sell to their demographics.
I agree that a small Hanukkah area would be nice ... and no it's not ok to say that her town is mostly white and Christian (reply to your post)... messianic believers belong to the Lord also and Jewish people live everywhere, even small towns 🕎✝️🕎
Thanks again for sharing this! I ❣️ all things Xmas. I really love the gnome and cardinal displays. I have to have that cardinal ribbon. Cardinals are my favorite WI bird. 💯❣️
Laura & Aaron thank you both for taking us along. This is my 3rd season watching the Open House video its become tradition for me. The store is beautiful and the childhood memories being told are precious. Thank you!!
You guys are always how I start my mornings, you bring me so much joy and I learn SO much from all of you-- I have been watching every morning for years. That being said, I HATE HATE every time I see that birdcage at the garden center: do not the birdies deserve a life of freedom?; why buy animals meant to fly around and cage them up only to be displayed?; do you guys not see or sympathize with them?; is it not cruel, unfair and inhumane to deprive them of those things which you so readily enjoy in your own garden? This is NOT a takedown, but I hope you see this comment and perhaps rethink having those poor birds in cages. I know that they cannot be wild anymore, but at least slowly phase out having caged, imprisoned animals in your garden center --so proudly displayed in their (un)freedom. Still love you guys, and will continue to watch... I just feel so bad every time I see those birds all caged up. Cheers.
A smorgasbord of Christmas cheer! What a feast for the eyes! That spiral metal display tree I can see in the kitchen stocked with homemade, edible Christmas cookies & goodies! And I think that peacock blue-green color is teal. Does your Mom choose all the decorative items? It's amazing the way the buyer puts her individual stamp on the feel of a shop.
My jaw dropped a little when you said that you've never seen a cardinal. In Indiana they are a near daily visitor in my garden, and even still, exciting to see. I never considered that you may not have the same species of birds as us, given that we are the same growing zone and grow most of the same trees. Do you have bluejays or bats? Other exciting to me but common sightings in my garden. Thank you for sharing this with us! Andrews is unbelievably charming 💕
The silver tree style is Feather Tree. The original ones were actually made with dyed goose feathers wrapped around wire. I have a couple reproductions.
Oh my goodness. pure eye candy. When you showed the butterfly prints on the wall.... I was crushing on the black deer head with those gorgeous antlers!!!! I want to put a big wreath around his neck and bring him home!!! I can't believe how many different styles and color palettes of trees and decor. Wish I was close enough to come to the open house. Looks like so much fun.
I visited the shop in early August and was surprised by the size of the interior. I expected a much larger display area because of all the beauty you pack in at Christmas time. Your family is so artistic in setting up the beautiful displays. It is just so special. And yes, I did make a purchase on my visit. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season.
never seen a cardinal?! thats so wild to me, we have tons of them here in atlanta and they are just beautiful. whenever i see one i like to think it is my dad visiting me :)
I love how tired you are, forgetting flamingo from peacock. It just shows how hard you've worked. Job well done. It is stunning. Happy open day tomorrow.Seasons Greetings.
Gorgeous! Your mom does an amazing job ordering such a huge variety of items. I would be so overwhelmed - and probably everything in the store would be red😂
I love watching your Christmas tours every year. Your family have so many beautiful items. I want so many every year. Merry Christmas to your family and many Blessings for the New Year from Ours. 🎄⛄️🎄⛄️🎄❤️
You can see red squirrels and red Cardinals in North Carolina where the Biltmore Estate and Gardens is located. It's a huge turreted, castle-like Victorian estate with period gardens. There's a model railroad that exhibit March 9, 2022 thru Feb. 20, 2023, that your children would be delighted with. "In the Conservatory (located at the foot of Biltmore's Walled Garden and Rose Garden), 800 feet of track carry a locomotive and railcars through gorgeous exotic botanicals. The replicas of estate landmarks are handmade utilizing all-natural materials collected from the estate." Nevermind that the estate itself is chock full of antiques and architectural detail that boggles the mind.
I really enjoy watching the tour! Everything looks so festive and beautifully curated! There is so much to see so I'm going to watch again. Isn't Christmas magical? Let the celebration begin 👍👏🎉🎄❤️😊
