I think you're misinforned. In the philippines if you work on legal holidays, you're paid double. If you work on youre day off, youre paid 130% of youre daily wage. If you work on legal holiday and it so happened it falls on youre scheduled day off, your daily rate is 230%. I dont know if that changes already, please do some research for confirmation

For regular employees they have sick leave vacation leave bereavement leave and these are all paid holidays. For OT the calculation is different if its Regular OT, Rest day OT and Holiday OT usually the highest it Rest day OT and Holiday OT cozz its 200%x per hr rate but I am not sure if you are contractual and under an agency
Not required to work on holidays in the Philippines but still have your 13th month pay mandated by law. If you work on holidays, it means employers will pay you double. ❤❤❤

There is vacation leave in philippines. You earn at least 30 days vacation/sick leave for 1 year. You can use the earned leave for a vacation and no deduction in the salary.

we at the government has 14th month pay.. work for 12 months, you will get 2 months worth of salary plus 10,000..13th month na po sa amin kuya, midyear bonus po.. tapos ung 14th month namin, sa year-end bonus na po..

in my copany where i was working, they give us bonuses 2 mos. salary plus thirteen mpnths pay, with 15 dqys payment of sick leave and 15 days vacation leave and they gave us holdays salary it depends if the decllaration is national. they give us full daily rates but when it is lpcal tjey gave us 30 percent vbut they did not give us overtie pay, y company is an exporter of lauan woods there in united kingdom and anywhere in the world, it is hapenned during when cutting of woods here in phils. still allowed. because all that benifits is mandatory to our labor code of the phils.

Paid holidays are for the life balance and wellness of the employees required by the government on companies. Bonus payments are supposedly incentives from the annual or periodical profit of the company distributed to all employees given in regard to each employee’s contribution to the company calculated from the level of salaries paid to them. There’s a difference. There are no company that doesn’t give paid holidays because it’s required by the law but as long as giving bonuses is not required by the law of that country many companies don’t give incentives to their employees.
I think depende cguro sa pinag trabahohan mo yong asawa ko briton Meron business dito sa uK Exhibition stand around Europe then powder coating but every year nag bibigay sya sa mga trabahador for Christmas bunos 1500 pound each then yong vacation nila bayad din yong iba pumupunta sa Indonesia to do surfing at may bayad sila kahit nasa holiday pag sobrang busy at at daming kita din doon sa isang business nya na powder coating every month of June nag bibigay din kaya tumatagal yong mga tauhan nya sa amin iba almost 18years na sa kanya
To philliphines big company requiréd to pay holidays if you want to works that legal holiday your company will pay you double but if you don't work holiday you give single pay here in philliphines there is two kinds of holiday legal and special holiday

Here in the Philippine if you are on daily wage . No work no pay but ifor big companies with negotiated agreement bet labor unionyou are on monthly basis or permanent position they give 10 days vacation in a year with pay
but thr bonuses is fro their heart and it is not mandated and aside from that they all gave goods with rice ready for noche buena all is ready, and we are hapopy to our company.
Holiday is being paid by the Company in the Philippines. Salary is monthly not daily. Now, if they ask you to come during Public Holiday they will pay you double (actually not double 1. something). Philippines have also OT pay and night differential. BTW and when you are in OT they give you free dinner. This should be the standard practices in the Philippines otherwise if other Company is not doing this you can file complaints in the Labor.

I work in Amazon with the Agency Adecco. In our pay slip, they include to pay the 13th and 14th month pay. The good thing is they paid higher percentage such as Saturday 18% higher, 25% higher, holidays are paid too, if you worked on holidays they paid 50% higher. Anyway, Amazon is an american company

In Philippines yung ibang company nagbibigay ng 13 month pay aside sa Christmas bunos. Sa company na pinagtrabahoan ko makakatanggap kami ng bunos every 3 months katumbas ng 1 month salary matatanggap namin yan sa month ng March, June, September at December. Wala na kaming 13 month pay kasi apart na beses kami makatanggap. Yung Christmas bunos at 13 month pay depende yan sa company pero obligado sila na magbigay ng 13 month pay kasi nasa batas yan, sa Christmas bunos yan ang hindi obligado. Sa holiday naman may batas din dyan, sa company naman namin "no work no pay" holy week, all saints day, Christmas at new year lang ang walang pasok, pero sa ibang regular holidays at special holiday depende din sa company pero sa company namin double pay kami sa at minsan kalahati lang ang bayad, pero kung holiday tapos hindi ka magtatrabaho syempre walang bayad. Maganda ang batas ng Philippine government pagdating sa ganyan kaya lang yung yung sahod natin ay enough lang para makakain sa isang araw yung iba na mahihirap halos hindi kasya yung sahod pang kain ng pamilya mo sa buong araw. Iba pa rin sa ibang bansa kasi yung isang araw na sahod mo dyan kung ibili mo ng grocery kasya haggang 4 days na kainan.

Plus other best benefits like health cards and retirement pay exclusive of SSS and Pagibig.its depends to the company you are working but for us happy kasi very generous ang company namin.
13th month pay is mandated by law in the Philippines. But some companies give more, say another month or two, depending on their capabilities. When I was working at the Manila Hotel in the late 70's and early 90's, we used to receive one month bonus middle of the year, and another month at year end, aside from the mandated 13th month pay. All in all, it was 3 months bonus in a year.
When i was atill working,our good company gives us 13th month pay,mid year bonus and dividends on month of feb depending in your performance and yearly assesment for your salary increase yearly
In Iceland, i received my Christmas bonus, but I'm not so happy. Supposed to be Dec. 15 we gonna received, but my company where i work for... they already include together in my salary. So some money goes to taxes, but it's fine. In summer vacation, Union gonna return back at summer vacation at May. I received also, gift card so it's fine.

Hindi uso Ang holiday SA security guard nang taiwan.wala Rin bonus or 13th month pay. At Wala Rin vacation with pay..dismayado ako..walang Wala ka talaga. Tapos during holiday sarado lahat. Wala Kang mabiljan nang pagkain..SA loob nang 9 days.wala Kang makain..bumibili lang kami SA supermarket nang stock bago mag holiday

Hindi po ba tlaga nagbibigay ng bonus ang mga english employers? Kasi dito sa Spain Normally nagbibigay talaga ng dalawang bonuses.June and December. Kaso english ang boss ko😂 so kung hindi uso sa mga english, di nalang ako manghingi ng bonus🤣🤣kahit isa😂
