We were always taught to thank for our gifts...like or not...its respect. One of my sisters 3 kids never used to say thank you...and all they have to do is text...we used to have to call!! Finally I said well if you can't take a couple of seconds to say thank you then obviously you don't need my gifts...needless to say they haven't forgotten since...lol Hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas. You did awesome with your mom’s purse. Our Christmas wasn’t much this year, our kids live in other states so didn’t see any family. We were going to dinner at a friend’s house but I got a cold yesterday so we decided to stay home. All the kids and grandkids had a wonderful Christmas it sounded like, that is what matters. I just keep thinking the reason for the season is Jesus, not us. Happy birthday Jesus!

I was silly enough to go to Walmart yesterday. The Christmas stuff was pretty much wiped out. I did buy a pkg. of tinsel. The transmission went out in my Jeep last Monday. The transmission went out Wednesday in my sister's extra car that I was driving & today the ball joint broke on my husband's truck. So, we don't have any vehicles. But God is good & things will improve.

I leave to come home and take care of my husband and my niece calls and said daddy fell down the back steps taking out the garbage. Which I had done before I left so no idea what he was taking out.
