Keto - peanut butter, butter, Swerve sugar, van, eggs, 1/2 almond flour - half regular flour. Much better for diabetics, asthma, bp. I have done this with all the cookies and breads I have made. Big dif in my health.

I'm still going to physical therapy and I love taking treats to them. ❣️ But first I'm making some eggnog cookies. I promised them already and then I'll be trying today's cookies! The chocolate covered cherry cookies will be trying. I will start my baking Monday pecan balls, pizzelles, sugar cookies, banana bread, pumpkin bread. A birthday cake for Jesus.
The first cookie is my favorite, my mom made these every Christmas but were called Russian tea cakes. This year I’m making 7 layer for my son and snickerdoodles, two of his favorites! After I dip pretzels I’ll take the rest of the chocolate and stir in cashews and make clusters, these are good in melted almond bark too! Merry Christmas!

I might try making the chocolate covered cherry ones. Though I would probably swap out the maraschino cherries for cherry jam. I love chocolate covered cherries but I'm not that fond of maraschino cherries.
(Wedding balls flattened into cookie not ball).Where I went wrong is not using real butter. I didn't have any vanilla extract but I used walnuts in mine. My husband and church still liked my cookies but my hubby complained because he was like why isnt it a ball like my mom's?
Catherine, you and Thomas hit it out of the park with all these delicious cookies. I have made them all except the chocolate cherry thumbprint cookies. My favorites are the pecan snowballs. My sister and I would make Christmas Cookies every year and we had a lot of fun doing it. My mother would make her Italian cookies every year that would melt in your mouth.
I have to agree with Thomas and go with the original peanut butter cookies. I don’t care for chocolate, so that leaves out half of the cookies. I'm sure I would enjoy the pecan balls, too.
Very nice, but you must try "melting moments." They are made with 3/4 cup corn starch, they are a gourmet sugar cookie that literally melts in your mouth. They are a must do every year.
Great way to get the toasted pecan taste in the Pecan snowballs/Italian Wedding cookies, toast the pecans for few minutes before and the flavor will be enhanced so so so good!!!! Bet you can't eat just one of any of those cookies

All the cookies look delicious 😋 I just made eight dozen chocolate chip cookies , four dozen molasses cookies,three dozen peanut butter cups, chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate covered pecans, white chocolate covered peanuts & raisins , three dozen Haystacks. Still have to make chocolate covered Oreos , Rice Krispie treats and Pumpkin bread . Then I will be done

I'm with your husband on this one. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite too. Of course the pecan ones are a very close second. I don't even really like chocolate unless it's real cocoa instead of the nasty milk chocolate everything is made of now
