Shaye, Stuart and Family, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! You're home is generous in size. Its your beautiful outdoor scenery that is an expansive view. What a beautiful view. I would just sit in front of the window. I like the idea of a more simply decorated Christmas and have done the same. Stu's positive facial expression after a sip demonstrates that the new espresso maker makes a deliciously tasting brew. Enjoy some rest.

Well done. A smaller house is better for everyone. A lot of people have too much space. That lends itself to isolationism. The holiday decor is nicely understated; it even puts a Scrooge like me in a holiday mode. But don't tell anyone.

Absolutely beautiful home, family, and music. Important - please move those 2 chairs far away from your wood stove as it would only take a moment for them to catch on fire. Probably 4-6’ away would be best or ask your wood stove place. We heat with wood as well. So cozy. God bless you all.

Its a beautiful old Christmas carol, “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming”. From 15th or 16th century German. Traditional melody, Harmony by Michael Praetorius 1607 ( info from my old Presbyterian hymnal)

Love the Gospel cards pinned on the rope. We have a Nativity of Crhist countdown calendar with similar cards. Next year, it would be nice to have a wreath with candles for each Sunday in the Fast. That's another aspect I found charming about the cottage: dim lights, candles beaming. Please next time, open and close the door for viewers to hear the jingle bells (clever touch on your part). ¡Feliz Navidad! Christ is born. Glorify Him.
