I never decorate for Christmas until after thanksgiving. It’s important that we celebrate this holiday since we are so blessed and lucky and need to take time to count our blessings and be thankful for what we do have. Fall is truly my favorite time of the year

We have always waited until Thanksgiving night to start decorating for Christmas. Thanksgiving was my Father's favorite holiday.

Last year I decided my Christmas theme this year would be centered around the true meaning of Christmas so I started looking for old manger scenes and other related decor…found a nice variety of them and I thought I would put one in each room and add nature, song sheets tea dyed with Christmas music, Bibles, framed Bible scripture, things like that…I’m excited and thought I would share with you, as I think you would appreciate…I do like your haul, red and green are always beautiful.

Hi Sarah ~ Oh my goodness…when I think of decorating for Christmas…the “LITTLE WOMAN” Movie always comes to mind! I actually gave most of my decor to our youngest daughter a couple of years ago and starting purchasing new garland, wreaths, and picks …the velvet ribbon and gold bells…THE FRONT DOOR in the beginning of that movie I swoon over !!! 🌲🌲❤️🌲🌲. LOL!!!! and YES the garland in the doorways and on the stair railing… LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!! So between “Sense and Sensibility “… “Pride and Prejudice “ and “Little Woman”….. I am on the same page as you ! LOL!!!! I can’t wait to see you decorate for Christmas. My house is almost done. Yes….early BUT I was suppose to have surgery Nov 8Th ( tomorrow) and I wanted my house done because of the recovery time….the surgery was cancelled because I tested positive for “you know what” I had it 5 weeks ago , very very mild…VERY MILD… ( I have had worse sinus headaches than that ) but they said it can show up in testing for 90 days! 😡😡….Yup upset…I wanted all this behind me! Now it could be through the Holidays for real. Hugs to you ! ❄️❄️🌲🌲❄️❄️

Sarah. Everything you do is so beautiful. Even your arrangement in the potpourri pot was simply gorgeous. Years ago they had those little miniature electric slow cooker pots for potpourri . I had one for years for my Christmas and Fall mixture. Wish I had one now. Thank you for sharing with us Sarah. We love it!! ❤

When I was much younger, I always waited until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas. However with age, & health issues, I miss the decorating like I use to do. I still have lots of my decor. (Some of it is probably considered vintage now.) Lol Our fall has already moved into mild winter we got a Lil snow today. ❄️ ugh 😒 I'm already, ready for spring. 😆 Looking forward to your decorating, & I could smell that yummy aroma in my mind. 😉

I’m with you- I don’t decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving dinner! In the Deep South Fall doesn’t start till mid-October and I like time to enjoy the season.

We used to wait until Thanksgiving weekend to set up the tree and decorate but the past couple of years with everything going on in the country we needed some cheery decorations to bring smiles so we started decorating the first of November. I really don't do fall decor except for about 4 things so it's fast to put those away. Happy holidays everyone!

Growing up we always decorated for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. But now with having a RU-vid channel I usually start earlier to give ideas. I feel behind this year though because I still need to do my fall home 🏡 tour. Lol! 🍁

We normally get the tree and decorate it on December 1st and then deck the hollys with boughs of holly (and ivy!) on the Winter Solstice. However since my daughter doesn't finish for Christmas from Oxford University until December 3rd we won't be getting the tree until the 4th x

I have such a horrible allergy to sap on pine trees. But I LOVE fresh greenery. Some years I've just decorated with gloves on. 😅 I think this year, I may just do faux. I'm looking at garland at Hobby Lobby and I saw one I thought was nice at Walmart too. I'm still working with a budget, so I haven't committed yet. I like the piece you picked!

The green looks so pretty on you. I do a similar simmer pot and add some powdered spices also. .a favorite of ours plus spiced tea to drink. I love Thanksgiving also and savor all the Fall as long as possible. Your purchases will look good together.
