LOVE your videos!! ♥It's like I've pulled up a stool in your studio with my coffee and get to watch and learn as you create! I'll have to go searching for a gingerbread cut out set now! I have seen many silicone molds for little fondant items for awhile and hadn't gotten up the gumption to try them yet but, now seeing you use them I'll be adding them to my list! AND hitting a second hand store for lace and dollies! Love that you show the process from start to finish, you're a great teacher! Thank you!
Ahhh, thank you sooo much. That's the best compliment. Yes, everywhere I go, I'm on the look out for things to use as texture. Good luck with your gingerbread house and thanks for watching.
Again, you have inspired me! I’m going to make one of these as soon as I get the cutters I ordered today. I’m going to start right after Christmas Day. I hope everything went well in surgery and you’re as pain free as possible. Well wishes and I can’t wait to see what’s in store next! Take care..
I wish I had seen this a couple months ago . I just ordered my gingerbread house cutters !😃I found your channel and have been watching it for hours. LOVE it!
Hi Tiffinie! I so enjoy watching you create! I know why your students are so great, you are an amazing teacher! Sending healing vibes and talk to you soon! Love from Bonaire
I love the houses, they are very nice, thank you for sharing with us. I just found your channel and I like all you are doing . My name is Linda from Ohio, 😊 ❤
oh i must try one of these! gorgeous! (If you put a loose base under it and made a hole in the chimney it could be an incense burner with "smoke" coming out of the chimey!! Im working my way throufgh your tutorials. Ive made the donut vases, the witches, ghosts, just started the angels and intend to try the santas and now the gingerbeead house!! Thank you so much for your kindness in giving these tutorials.
We had a gingerbread house contest on Thanksgiving and I wish I had remembered to embellish everything before putting it together. Lol. We all had different little kits. It was so much fun but I can’t wait to make these.
41:45 I used Laguna speckled buff on a treasure chest I did for a dragon sculpture. Once it was bisque fired I put on a chocolate brown underglaze and wiped it back then glazed fired it and I got a very pretty wood effect. The speckled buff clay is wonderful. Another awesome easy to follow tutorial.
Can't wait to make some . I also got parts replaced in my shoulder the other day so I have plenty of time to plan! Thinking of you and hope all went well!
I just watched your halibut plate video and this one is auto playing but I just wanted to say I love your channel so far and your ideas are so inspiring!
I've made some Santas, they aren't perfect but I am very happy with the way they turned out. I have the gingerbread cut outs so that is on the agenda. I love your videos and I watch them often.
Hi watched most of your videos . Like your imagination and creativity. Would like to one day come where your at and learn from you. In from florida so be Expensive so. Get well soon and get back on wheel girl. Best to you thanks for sharing with us
Wow! This looks so awesome 👌 I actually have a silicone ginger bread house that I got with a magazine. I'm going to have a go. I'll probably just do it with underglaze though. I've made a Santa Claus, but he's only been bisqued so far. He looks okay though. I hope your surgery went well, and that your healing properly. Your student's work looks so good, as well.
I want to try the silicone molds for gingerbread houses too. My students are amazing and constantly surprise me with their creativity and talent. Thank you for the well wishes. Surgery went well. Now to get through the recovery.
Tried to follow the link for the gingerbread house on Amazon. But the link was shortened (I’m guessing by RU-vid). Is there a way to share the full link please? Love the houses! You are a very gifted artist!
I’m so bummed not to be able to find the exact house. Could you take a picture of the box and maybe add the dimensions of the finished house please? Thanks so much. Your video is awesome!
@ladyhawk98 I uploaded the photo to Google search, and it's out of stock everywhere. It took me to links in Zimbabwe and India, where it's out of stock, too. I'm so sorry. But there are other gingerbread cutters out there that would work following my tutorial.
Hi! Can you please repost the link as every time I click on your link above it brings me to my own personal "your-orders" page LOL TIA I really love your houses and especially the ones that you show in your "rustic" house (I think it might be the cutters in that black box???) Again, TIA! Merry Merry Merry Christmas and the happiest and healthiest New Year! OH and BTW you have such GREAT hints on how to make the shutters and circle rims out of the window cut outs! I never would have thought of that, its AWESOME
Well now I need gingerbred cookie cutters lol.I am From BC Canada 100 mile house the gold rush trail Hiway to Alaska, Now in Sask i miss the mountains and the trees. But i know what the cold is like right now we are at -11f and the windchill is -36f warmer than yesterday, We didnt have the windchills back home like we do here, I think it is the lack of trees,
Love BC! Such gorgeous country. I bet you're right about the cold and lack of threes. It takes a special breed of people to live in the Arctic. My favorite type of people. 😀 Good luck making your own clay gingerbread house!
Amazing again,I also have a question but can't find the video to go with my question. It's about the slugs wondering what clay and what are they for....to tell if your plants need water????
I have totally fallen for your videos. I’ll send a picture of the Santa I started today. Please give me the source of your wreath and door mold that you used for this Christmas cottage. Thank you so much.
The houses are super cute! And I’m so happy to know about the gutter guard texture. I’ve tried to use the netting from fruit bags, but could never get a good impression.
Ok I have a question that I can’t get an answer for so I’m asking you and doing it in the first video that popped up in my RU-vid. 😂😂. I have made your adorable hedgehogs and am ready to glaze them. They are made with earthenware clay and I want to use Norse blue glaze. As you know (because you know everything) is for stonewear. Can I use it on earthenware clay??? Thank you and I LOVE your videos and studio. Obviously I’m a newbie to the pottery world. Thanks again.
