I am going to start donating my crafts to a local nursing home and rehab center. But I am going to have to make a lot more than I usually make. So I'm looking for extremely budget-friendly crafts that I can make for up to 120 people. I thought the tree made from the foam tree and the soup can and aluminum foil would be perfect. This would even be good to incorporate the patients by letting them put the foil around their tree and picking out the color they want. Then I could put the hot glue on them and the paint. I was thinking of getting the mini gift bows that they could choose the color and stick on top of the tree. I love your crafting you put such nice touches on your projects. Your voice is super soothing. And you give so many helpful tips! I'm a huge fan 👏
That is actually sweet or also you could do a yard sale and make some Snowmen and Christmas Tree or any type of crafts. I was going to make some for the homeless but they will be upset because they always want vape a or a home.
@@MadisonLineberry thank you for thinking of the homeless. I can understand them wanting a home. Perhaps you could use the money you would make from a yard sale to give some food to the homeless.
Your welcome! Some homeless people just stand on the side of the street and hold up a sign that says homeless and hungry please help. You can also go to the store and get some groceries for the homeless. You can give them some money.
I'd love to see a craft with you and your husband each creating and putting your own touch on some sort of themed craft, like a snowman or Christmas tree or something :)
Am ☹️ that your Christmas in July video's have finished. I can't wait until Oct/Nov, when you post your beautiful Christmas projects again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas Holly.😊❤
I'm in love with your snowmen, so much so that I'm tempted to buy the 3 original crafts that you made these from. Also, a big thank you for your free printables. I just bought my first color ink printer (until now, I always had black & white), so once it's up & and running, I plan to go back where I made notes on my favorite crafts of yours and grab those printables. It's so generous of you.! There are some RU-vid crafters that right out the gate charge for their printables. I had to choose between a printer and a Joy Cricut, knowing I couldn't afford both.
Printer better choice! You will need it for other things in life as well. You could always cut that same shape from some thick cardboard and make the snowmen that way. Just cover them with card stock or posterboard or even a cereal box to make the front smooth. Use a bit of glue around the edges or spackling from the dollar tree to smooth it out and hide that it’s cardboard. It can be done without having to buy four miniature windows! 😂 ❤️🥰
Holly, thanks so much for sharing these creations! The snowmen are adorable, I love them, those little faces are so sweet. Of course, I also loved the cherry pie. Somebody will try to snitch a lil piece! The tree was so pretty, I want to try the hot glue to make designs on something. The charger plate was so festive, the Santa face looked like the Santas I remember from back in the day. Thanks again!
Hey Holly! Ya know I’m always amazed at how beautiful a craft turns out when it made with simple supplies. That tin can and styrofoam Christmas tree is so pretty yet so simple. I just love that. Enjoyed the video my dear. See ya in the next one! ❤️💜💚
All of these are adorable. Snowmen are my favorite but I think the tree is very nice. Think I will try both. I like the pie like it is without a bow. Looks good enough to eat. Love some cherry pie. Made me hungry for one.😅😅
Yay....I'm here for it 💖 I watch quite a few crafters on RU-vid & that is the most realistic pie I've seen to date 💖. LOVE the Santa picture, he is adorable. Who doesn't love a cute snowman & those 3 are super duper cute! Holly, your attention to detail is amazing & makes all the difference in your crafts versus most. I LOVE & appreciate that my friend. Until the next one...
That shape for the snowmen faces is perfect! It makes them look like they have chunky cheeks. Love them! I tried salt dough a few months ago. When I went to paint them it softened them and made them mushy and then they broke in half. I use Sculpey air dry clay from Walmart. It’s only 7.97 for a pound. It’s softer than DAS and I literally squeeze it in my hands like three times. Please don’t give up on clay Holly. It has broadened my crafting world on a whole other level. - Kristin
So then it would definitely be only cinnamon to color the salt dough, or you could use iron oxide. The brown powder is extremely strong. Speaking of you could definitely use a brown eyeshadow! Yeah, that would work too. The salt dough recipe would work, you just would have to figure out a different way to color it until it dries out. I have some that have lasted me 40 years and will still be around after I’m gone lol. 😂 🤣😜💯❤️
@@HotHumblePie I’m definitely going to try your recipe. The other one had me use teabag water to color it. And I air dried them for weeks! Thanks so much for the tips! I really would love it to cooperate for me lol
@@HotHumblePie I almost forgot to tell you ALDIs special select marinara glass jars have tomatoes on a vine etched into them. They look like apples! They’re gorgeous! I know you love to paint on glass!
I love the snowman it was so adorable I use to collect snowmen I had a lot, but I changing some things and gave them to my sister inlaw.. She got a lot of stuff from me 😅... Anyway I definitely want to make some of them for myself and to gift. You could just make smaller different sizes for the Christmas tree or to hang in windows.. Larger to hang on the doors of your home, Wrap picture frames on your wall and put different snowman on them or make them from frames for gifts and save a few for your next year.. With the pie you can make any berry you want with the clay.. There are a lot recipe's to make your own clays, modpoge or you can use the new wall repair really think or ready made.. I also really love the tree it's amazing.... The pie is gorgeous I'd paint the pie dish maybe silver or color for whatever season your making... It would be cool if there was a way to make it scented.. I wonder if in the bottom you could use a homemade dough and put a few drops of essential oils and it would work? What do you think I could do?
I was gifted one year with a pie holder that had ceramic pie dishes with the recipe to two pies, I was known for making pies.. I bought a regular size homemade pie that had scented stuff inside.. Thank you so much for sharing again I love all of your creations.
I felt your struggle with the clay. I have a love/hate relationship with clay of any kind. My fingers love to play with it, my brain explodes with ideas… but then comes reality. One thing I do know is that air dry clay can be rehydrated. I plop my failures back into the tub, add some water and let it sit for a while. I also keep a shallow dish of water next to me to wet the edges of my projects. It helps when I’m trying to attach another layer or piece to the sculpture. I can’t wait to get started on the tree. I think they will be lovely down the center of the table with some greenery and berries around.
The snowmen are so adorable, love them! Loved how you used them, the picture is gorgeous! Oh my goodness, the pie is so stinkin cute! Love the amazing tree, so elegant! The charger with Santa is beautiful!🎄❤️☃️💚
Love all of these! You are so creative! My ideas for Snowmen names from top to bottom...Sassy Suzy, Happy Henry, and Charming Carl. On the pie you could add faux whipped cream and faux Christmas sprinkles. TFS! Have a great day!
@@HotHumblePie Brandi over at DIY struggle mentions you and says that she gets some of her ideas/inspiration from you. She is also amazing. You and she are both talented artists who share - mistakes and fixes. I’m so happy I found you and her. I rarely miss your videos ❤️❤️❤️
