I’ve got so much work to do and this is still on my desk. 😩 I want to mirror the mechanism and add another dove that points down. And of course ad a branch of holly. Maybe some gold accents. I hope I can make it before Christmas. First things first! - I know there are a hundred Christmas dove pop-ups. Just giving this a try myself…

...that is a tricky mechanism...it works somewhat Iike the wheeI, and wouId work for my crows...is there a name for the mechanism? :)))

It’s a parallel bridge, extended with the body and added v-folds to both sides on the corners. After that attached the wings and tail.

@@jheremck sorry my explanation wasn’t correct. For the body I’ve added a v-fold on top of the extended parallel and after that, added a v-fold on top of the v-fold… It’s hard to explain.
