you should read madison beer's memoir, "The Half Of It", yes she's a celebrity but she talks about so many important topics & tells her own story that so many people aren't aware of & as a young teenager it has taught me a lot. i highly recommend!! (though i recommend searching the trigger warnings as well)

i’ve never read everything we know about love but i love reading memoirs, one of my favorites is called shout by Laurie Halse Anderson. It has a unique concept because the whole book is just poems about her life from childhood to adulthood (there is some trigger warnings so for sure look a those) but it became one of my favorite books of all time :)

I almost restarted my phone and reloaded everything just because I didn't see the notification at exactly 10:30 ..(IST) Can you tell this is the only thing I look forward to

I read 107 books. 60,073 minutes and my biggest reading month was November with 19 books, I was trying to get to my Goodreads reading goal lol. Romance was my number 1, obviously.

seeing that beach in winter is so different than seeing it in summer it’s always so packed and busy

0:54 regarding journaling - I saw a tt recently of the older woman that said "if you're trying to journal, if you've failed in the past but really want to go at it - this is your sign" and she said like cheap, thin spiral notebooks filled with her writing from her 20's and that in itself was enough to catapult me into journaling everyday for the last week now! It makes me excited to know I can look back on my own words years and years from now. ◡̈

Have you ever read the book Hyperbole and a Half (important to specify book because it started as a blog)? Each chapter of that is a super specific life story by the author that ends up being quite relatable. I haven’t read Dolly Alderton’s book yet, but Hyperbole and a Half sounds similar in a way, though I imagine it is a VERY different style of writing.

You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero she also has another one called You Are A Badass Everyday- it's more self help but it was very insightful and its a short book at about 250 pages
