National Lampoon's Christmas vacation is one of our favorites as well. Your front porch turned out beautiful I live in Wisconsin so I'm quite jealous that you can put out all that cute greenery and it won't blow over or get 10 ft of snow on it and still look pretty!!!

I love that this is simple, I’m in Florida and I usually keep the porch simple because if bugs or cobwebs. Easier to keep clean 🤷‍♀️

I have those same wicker bells, I Love them. I placed a sled on my porch with a lit tree, a lit wreath with those bells and a red lantern with a flickering bulb in it. Christmas decorating is so much fun.

Amy ...perfect ! I use to get that garland at Lowe’s and we would put it all across our picket fence that bordered our property. But getting to be old people....my husband and I made the hard decision to take the fence down. We live in “ my family home “ and it always had that picket fence. But they don’t have good long lasting wood anymore...or paint that is a true outdoor OIL BASED paint. We got sick of replacing the fence every other year. Time consuming and costly! BUT loved that garland with white lights on it and YES is smells delicious! I miss this old house being dress to the hill for Christmas.. but like I said, being older and no children near us.... time to give it up! Our youngest daughter calls me every morning ( I’m her co-pilot while she goes to work ) and she was telling me the excitement of our grandbabies and Christmas decor...she has a 3 year old boy and a 2 year girl! Crazy Momma she is with that age group! LOL!!! But just listening to it... I miss those days...cherish them! ❤️❤️❤️🌲🌲🌲❤️❤️❤️
