Merry Christmas Father Mark and everyone!! ♥️✝️🎄 May God bless you with His love, light and peace today and always!! *3 Things from the Heart of God the Father to Meditate On as We Celebrate the Wonder of Christmas:* 1. *Let all people draw near to the Child in the manger.* God did not send Jesus our Saviour to condemn the world, but to save the world (John 3:17). He is so good, merciful and kind, and loves each of us with an everlasting love. 2. *Receive God’s gifts.* God is the one who gives, He gave us the greatest gift of all in His only Son, Jesus. (John 3:16). The Lord constantly pours out goodness, graces, blessings and little miracles in our lives and Christmas is a time to open our hearts and let His wonderful gifts flow in, like the grace of forgiveness, the grace of gratitude, and the grace to see things with a new perspective, as through the eyes of the Lord. 3. *We are children of the light.* At Christmas, as we come together to celebrate with family and rejoice in the birth of Jesus, much of humanity is at its best, we are filled with God’s light and the Lord wants to confirm our identity as His beloved sons and daughters (John 1:12). ♥️ “And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) ♥️ “The shepherds made haste. Holy curiosity and holy joy impelled them. In our case, it is probably not very often that we make haste for the things of God. God does not feature among the things that require haste. The things of God can wait, we think and we say. And yet He is the most important thing, ultimately the one truly important thing. Why should we not also be moved by curiosity to see more closely and to know what God has said to us? Thank you to the Eternal Father for His beautiful message through you, Father Mark! I have read that, from a psychological perspective, most people gush over a newborn child because they feel joy at being in the presence of another that is not stricken with the things of this world, the grief, the anxiety, the folly, etc. Jesus could have come in a plethera of ways, but this way was so infinitely important.
