I married Oct. 30, 1971. My husband was a senior in college and I was working in a hospital making $1.99 an hr. I was excited for our 1st Christmas I fell in love w/a choir set, 2 boys w/angels wings & in choir robes. They were $199 ea. The problem was that how much I made a hr. Did I really want to work 2 hrs. for the set? I thought hard on this and decided to get them anyway. For 53 yrs. they have had a honored place on our dinning room table. They are almost always the first to be put out. Believe me growing up my mom had NO Christmas décor at all. Just a tree w/about 10 ornaments, no stockings, no wreaths. etc. Decorating was NOT her thing. So that's why I got my choir boys, I guess.. It's the 1st thing I ever had.

Kelly!! I live it all. Love your gingerbread headband and the plushie gingerbread topper. Add some buffalo snow to your adorable wagon to sit the gingerbread dolls in. I think you may like the look❤❤❤

I created a small space for my beverage station I scaled back but you're right you can still make it cute. Lol to the gingerbread joke 😂 I need groceries to have Black Friday deals! I don't need any flat screen TV 's. Wow you have a nice collection of snoopy. I agree adding ribbon is not easy. I love those Chessman cookies

Snoopy/Peanuts is a big deal this fall season and going into Christmas! I have about 12 ornaments that I’ve had since I’ve been married (before kids)! I love seeing them each year! They go at the top of the tree and then all the Barbie and Star Wars ornaments go on the tree! You are truly an inspiration!

Hi Kelly! Loving how cute you decorated! It’s all set up so cute and perfect for holiday drinks! I need to join you on that mug intervention especially since I don’t drink coffee or cocoa lol! Love the tier tray great tip on using the lazy Susan. Your tree is sweet-tacular ❤ Ribbon tell me about it 🫣 I cut mine in strips and tucked it in through the branches to make it seem like it’s weaved throughout the tree.

Such nice decorating Kelly! Hope you get to move into your dream home asap♡ Wow, that Charlie Christmas nativity looks so precious!! I've been using the Target Drive-up feature so to not get too much but then I add our Tarbucks order and it still gets to be over $100 😂 We've decorated so far the coffee/cocoa bar, 2 tier trays, 3 nativities are out +the mantle is done. Still need to put the tree out+decorate, and the lights/ornaments on our real trees&bushes outside of the house;)

Hello, Kelly. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I am not looking for any more decor items because the two things I really wanted I was able to find-Dunn gingerbread measuring cups and a gingerbread mug with a snow globe topper. I am planning to start decorating this weekend and I am going to do one space at a time, so I won't get too overwhelmed. I adore Snoopy and the Peanuts and the mug is so adorable. Hi Kelly. Great job on the cocoa corner. I understand about impulsive mug shopping.. I buy too many and don't even drink coffee... But I have a cocoa excuse for the holidays.. You have started decorated that's Awesome! I am pulling things out and hopefully find my gingy garland and Santa plate stand this week... At least I know who sells it now.
