My Fractal FM3 just came in the mail!!! This is my first time opening it up and playing with it. I'm STOKED! I'm programing some sounds before band practice! I'll show you guys how it sounds later ;) woohooo!

Get yourself over to the Fractal Audio Forum and download the new firmware!!! It will turn your FM3 into a monster!!! I have just done this myself yesterday and I am now blown away with the sounds!! You will love your FM3.

@@catsnextweekdid you ever tried Quad Cortex? how if compare to this fm3 for feel and sound quality.

@@BagusWibisono I’ve been using an axefx ultra since 2012. Then last October I decided to buy a quad cortex and was super stoked to get my hands on one. My excitement quickly vanished as I began to create my sounds. I found that it sounded digital, not authentic, and didn’t have the tube amp feel/response that I got from my tube amps and my fractal. All the QC patches felt like they had a similar underlying tonality that made the amp mods sound like they were all related… hope this makes sense haha Anyway, plugging into an FM3 and dialing in a scene was an instant sigh of relief and complete satisfaction. Night and day for me.
