One more advice, be careful with the domaschna Rakia, it is the best medicine by flue times. Best to serve fresh out of the Dschesve with a spoon of honey and some lemon juice. For shopping smaller painting stuff and more, better use the traditonal Книжарица shops, which offers all you need for some stotinki. Sorry to be indelicate, but I've just read that in Bulgaria it is unusual to flush toilet tissue and that it has to be put in a bin in the bathroom instead. Is this true?
Hahaha yes 😂 Some toilets can flush tissue, but in the smaller villages there is no plumbing system to deal with it. A bit of a culture shock if you've never seen it! 😆
@@the_phoenixprojectSorry to go on about this, but it sounds horrible! Do you really have a stinky bin in the bathroom? Does it go out with the normal household rubbish? I live on a boat and toilet stuff isn't straightforward, but even we boaters aren't expected to keep our toilet paper.
@@ChefEarthenware it's really not that bad 😆 We have experienced it in Thailand and so many other countries that we are used to it. Most of the toilet paper here is scented, too. It's honestly not a big deal.
You chose a very beautiful name for the cat - Kalina. The (humble) Bulgarian Royal Family outed by the communists has all his children names starting with "K". Kardam, Kiril (like from Cyril, like our alphabet), Kalina, Kubrat and Konstantin (old Greek from Constantine). Simeon II is an intelligent man, but the royal family topic is very controversial in BG. There are all very old names still used today, but not all. Kubrat Pulev is a very famous boxer especially in America. You can laugh a lot if you see the famous kiss he "shot" with Jennifer Ravalo that went very viral with millions of views lol.
